Thus Sayeth Yeshua

Thus sayeth Yeshua,

Some of my children have become too focused on their past failures. In doing so they have not dealt with the pain they have suffered at the hands of others. In doing so you walk wounded. You put a smile on your face and yet inside you are battling depression. Because you don’t admit your emotional pain to anyone it manifests in other areas of your body as physical pain.

Spend some time each day picturing in your mind those who hurt you. Then see me walking between you and each person. One at a time. I am the light of the world. See my glorious resurrected body full of golden light that covers both you and the person who hurt you. Then say, “I forgive you in the name of Jesus.” Notice the peace you feel as my radiance surrounds you both. Daily do this until you feel no more hate, anger and hurt towards those who hurt you.

You cannot use past pain as a reason to justify your compulsive behaviors anymore. All compulsive use of drugs, alcohol, food, and sex originates out of a need to meditate your pain.

You are speaking what the scriptures say but you are not in sync with your soul. You must be free of the hurt within to overcome the things that hold you back from being truly free and bringing your body, soul and spirit completely in agreement with my unconditional love.

This is what I meant when I spoke to my disciples that they too could work miracles as I did and even greater. When you are in total agreement with my will prayer answers come naturally.

I kept my heart free from constantly remembering hurt, rejection and abuse though people said horrible things to and about me. You must learn to do the same.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:12-14

1Corinthians 13:4-5

Love does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Monday Musings

So many Christians have been under full attack in the past few years. We have lost people we love from our lives, material possessions, reputations, and/or our health.

We feel as if all this brokenness has gotten us to the point of total surrender. We love God and we have determined to never leave His side because He is our only safe harbor.

But, beloved of the Lord, we still haven’t “arrived” yet. We have not, nor will we ever, reach a time where we are left alone. Satan harassed Jesus until the very end. People spoke horrific things to him and spit on Him on the cross.

I see and feel God working in the area of sins we may have battled since childhood. I see God making us more aware of how these things need to go as we ask for a deeper and closer walk with Him.

One area God was speaking to me about yesterday was unanswered prayer. What keeps our prayers from being answered?

For a lot of us it’s conditional love. We simply don’t like some people. They “rub” us the wrong way. In our heads we have a constant dialogue running. The largest huddle to jump over is hate. I have asked God to help me to find unconditional love for these people. I ask Him to allow me to see people through his eyes of unconditional love. Hate, gossip, jealousy, not forgiving, all these things HINDER PRAYER.

Have a blessed week!

222

In asking God for a Word today I was reminded that this is February 22. I then realized it is a 222 day. So many people tell me they see 222 often.

God directed me to Daniel 2:22.

But in getting complete answers I also always look at the scripture before and after the one I am interested in.

…21He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. 22He reveals the deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. 23To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, because You have given me wisdom and power. And now You have made known to me what we have requested, for You have made known to us the dream of the king.

Look for things to be revealed today. Things that may have been hidden to you will suddenly become revealed. It is God that promotes people and also God that removes them from our lives as well as from the Global stage.

It could be that a prominent world leader will be removed. I would not be surprised if something big doesn’t happen in Venezuela soon. It’s a humanitarian crisis that cannot be allowed to continue.

Either way, either in your life personally or in our lives globally I discern big changes today!

Trusting God When Nothing Is Making Sense

All day long I have felt the Lord laying it on my heart to share this with people who are feeling so frustrated with the way their life is going. People who believe God gave them a promise for their life and they see no evidence of it year after year after year. As a matter of fact some of you are wondering if you really did hear from God!

I have heard the story of Samson and Delilah my whole life. There is a part of it that God used yesterday in order to show me something I had not seen in the same way before. I was listening to Pastor Steven Furtick preach on the story yesterday when God opened my eyes to something through his sermon.

The part that came alive to me was the part in JUDGES 13. An Angel Of The Lord appears to Samson’s mother:

“Now therefore, please be careful not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean. For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” (Judges 13:4 & 13-14)

So she is told her son was to be used to deliver Israel out of the hands of the Philistines. She followed all the rules. She, and her husband, took time to raise Samson in the house of God. God had something important for their son to do. He was God’s anointed.

Time passes. When he was a young adult, Samson left the hills of his people to see the cities of Philistia. He fell in love with a Philistine woman from Timnah, whom he decided to marry, ignoring the objections of his parents, who were concerned because the Israelites were forbidden to marry Gentiles.

About now, if I was Samson’s mother, I would be thinking, “How can this be Lord? What you said to me had nothing to do with my son marrying the enemy! What is going on?”

As we read the whole story we come to see that what looked like a terrible mistake actually was part of God’s plan.

A lot of us think our miracle is going to be straight forward. Now when things aren’t looking good and everything is going crazy, we might be tempted to give up our dream.

What we fail to see is that when everything in the natural is looking bad, we have to stay calm. God will do what he said he will do, just like he did with Samson eventually. We have to trust the plan because God will not do it in the way it makes sense to us, instead he will do it in a way in which, when it happens against all odds, not just us, but all those watching, will know it was only because of God that we got our miracle!

You might not see it right now, beloved, but if you simply trust God, like a well woven quilt, your life is all going to all come together for your GOOD.

You Can Have The Desires Of Your Heart

If you really want something you must go after it completely. Let your pride go.

I once wanted to work at a certain place. It was close to my house, the benefits were beyond good and the pay was excellent.

I knew I was qualified for a position there, and they were hiring, I sent a resume and had heard nothing a month later.

I prayed about it and then I decided to do something BOLD. I faxed my resume daily with a cover letter stating the facts that I would be a perfect fit for the job they were offering, etc.

I guess they got sick of it. To shut me up they called on Friday of that week and made an appointment for an interview the next week.

When I was ushered into the interview office I saw 5 people sitting there. When they started the interview the interviewer said, “We decided we all wanted to meet the person who wanted the job badly enough to fax her resume every day.”

I wowed them and I got hired.

Decide where you want to work and don’t settle for less. Decide what you want to do in life and, if need be, go back to school and get a degree to do it.

I have little patience for people using excuses. If you want anything bad enough, and it’s not immoral or illegal, God will help you get it.

Don’t sit there. Follow up on resumes and if you have to fax once a day and call them asking if they received your resume.

Don’t look at excuses! In God’s world anything is possible if you want it badly enough! I chose to see my glass half full and then God meets me there and fills it to overflowing!

Activating Dunamis Power

Do a study on Dunamis. It’s the power of the Holy Spirit that Christ told us to wait for in the Upper Room.

In order for us to operate in Dunamis we need to rid ourselves of ugly soul ties which contaminate our Souls. Pray and fast for the breaking of soul ties.

Things we were once involved with, that we shouldn’t have been involved with, invite those demons in. Drugs, pornography, lust, greed, etc. have demons attached to them.

When we go back to a sin we have laid down what happens?

“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he roams through waterless places in search of rest; and finding none, he says, “I will return to my house which I left.” And when he has come to it, he finds the place swept and clean. Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there; and the last state of that man becomes worse that the first.” (Lk 11:24-25).

This is why, when we return to something we shouldn’t return to, it becomes harder to escape each time.

In order to fully operate in Dunamis we have to regularly do housekeeping. The spirit of darkness and the spirit of God cannot cohabitate. They cannot live together. One or the other has to go.

Dunamis Greek translation

1) strength power, ability

1a) inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth

1b) power for performing miracles

1c) moral power and excellence of soul

1d) the power and influence which belong to riches and wealth

1e) power and resources arising from numbers

1f) power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts

Are People From Your Past Trying To Destroy Your Life?

TwoFaced

Phillipians 3:13-14

Brothers and Sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

Forgetting what is behind, simply means forgetting the past and straining towards what is ahead simply means I go forward to what God has for me to do. The life God has planned for us has nothing to do with our past.

I recently got a little depressed. Because I know God has completely healed me of depression I begin to pray about it and asked God for knowledge and wisdom to see what was going on.

God began to teach me something that I now would like to teach you.

Do you have people, possibly family, who remembers all the ugliness of your past and still like to torture you over it. They like to use it against you and often try to remind others of it to get them to think less of you too. Sometimes they do it really covertly. Perhaps in a room full of people they like to say how proud they are of you because you no longer do this, that or the other. You cringe. You really didn’t want those particular people to know about your past. If you did you would have mentioned it yourself. Yes, you are blessed that God set you free but that is the past and you want to leave it there because people begin to then associate what they know about your past, with you, and often NOT what God is doing now through you.

It’s especially upsetting when these family members are unsaved and still have all kinds of things going on in their lives that God doesn’t approve of.

I have an interesting testimony in that I was saved and then backslid terribly before I finally totally committed to the Lord almost 20 years ago.

Recently I came to the knowledge that a person in my family has almost single handedly destroyed my relationship with just about everyone in my family of origin. Now this person has not spoken to me in over 17 years. The person has no idea what my life is like, the peaceful life I spend with the Lord, and the fact that I counsel and teach others to also find peace in God, is not even known by this person. I am not exactly sure what I did to make this person despise me, I am not even sure the person knows. The very fact that they can still hurt me with these things can only mean one thing. They are operating under the influence of a demonic spirit. I don’t think they realize that, but thats what it is.

This Winter someone else in my family starting spending time with this man and the next thing you know I began to feel under attack. I was being attacked in my emotions and frankly in my physical health.

It took a while before I realized I was under an attack. Studying this the Lord brought me step by step to what He wanted to show me.

First of all when we go through things in our live’s that are things that open doors to demonic oppression we create situations that allow Satan to be present. When we completely come away from these things and totally commit our lives to God we need to also go through a time a repentance and restoration. What I didn’t realize completely is that there are some people from our pasts that we cannot let back into our lives until they are also totally committed to Christ. Unfortunately these people are often family.

Some people do not want to ever except the fact that a born again friend or family member has changed. To do so would mess up the whole story of their life that they have used to garner self-pity regarding their own lives. People will say, “But you said this that or the other! I thought this person did this, that or the other” They are not willing or wanting to have Christ in their own life. You changing proves it can be done and they don’t want to surrender. They are still in bondage to the sin in their life and they are not ready, maybe they will never be, to get rid of it.

My depression was coming from this person reminding me of things that God says in the Word He has totally forgotten. This person was saying things about me that are not true. I finally realized, as hurtful as it is and as much as I love the person, there is no longer room in my life for someone who finds joy in hurting me.

The past, and most of the people we were involved with there, needs to be just that PAST.

We cannot allow relationship with people who are determined to hate us. It doesn’t matter who they are. Any person who is condescending to us or constantly brings up the past is doing the devils work and needs to go.

Who does God say we are? Thats what matters. Any person with the Spirit of God in them will realize that what this person says is no longer true. What do we need to have fellowship with the darkness for anyway? LET THEM GO.

Pray for the soul-tie with that person to be broken. Pray for God’s cleansing LIGHT to be poured over the part of your body that is physically hurting over the mental anguish this person has caused and then LET THEM GO.

If you are feeling out of sorts, depressed and hopeless, examine your life. Who from your past is still in it? Anything we once had in common with the unsaved is a demon. Friendship with that person, or people who still befriend that person, is not what God wants for us. Why would a true friend, a true Christian, want to associate with someone who puts you down? These people are two-faced. They will keep you around to pray for them or lift them up when they hit rock bottom, which they constantly do.

Watch closely over who you have let in your life. These people are often the cause of your bad feelings. You don’t need them, and the demonic activity they bring with them. Satan uses your kind heart against you. These people need to be left to their own devices. Only when they are truly at the bottom will they come to Christ.

A Word For The Discouraged

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.  1 John 4:1

Not all that glitters is gold, is a cliché that a lot of us grew up with. Yet, still in this day and age, we get fooled often because we want to find the perfect relationship, perfect job, and we want joy in our lives.

We often spend a lot of time praying for our miracle, and then when we “think” we have it, we start ignoring all “red flags” and we are sure that this person, job or “thing” is from God. Then when things turn out badly, we turn around and blame God.

I have finally gotten to a point in my walk, where I never blame God when things go wrong. I know, without a doubt, that all things that happen in my life that are less then perfect, are because I wanted something and didn’t take the time to pray over the situation or they come directly from the hand of the devil.

The devil is the enemy of the soul of every single Christian. Like he did with Job, the devil studies us to find out area’s of our weaknesses and that is where he hits us.

Sometimes it feels, these days, as if we barely get through one rough time before another one is on our doorstep. We get tired and we get weary, and we become more vulnerable to taking the first solution we see that might be an answer.

Psalm 34:18 tell us the following:

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

When we are suffering in our emotions, or health area’s, because of a poor decision we made, that should be a clue to us to take our own inventories. When faced with the consequences of bad decisions, it’s important to ask ourselves what pattern in our lives are we constantly repeating? If we can pinpoint that pattern we can save ourselves a lot of pain.

I counsel people sometimes who get so tired and weary with doing everything alone, that they look at the first person that comes along as someone who can rescue them. Having been a single mom for years I understand. But when I help someone who has rushed into a situation that turned out badly, out of desperation, I counsel them to trust in God in the future and not another frail human being.

It’s the same with bad jobs. We need money, we have to eat and pay the bills and so we jump head first into the first opportunity that presents itself only to say to ourselves later, “I hate this job!”

What God has shown me is that we must get to a point that we trust God, more then other people, to be the solution to our problems. Trusting God means we can sit still and wait until the right opportunity presents itself.

Trusting God means we can pray for wisdom and discernment before making life-changing decisions.

Satan doesn’t tempt us with things that don’t look good. He brings something around, wanting to destroy us, that looks just like what we have been praying for. We often forget that we are in a battle for our souls, and don’t even consult God prior to making important decisions. Satan can make things look good for us that are not in our best interest.

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

The most important thing in the world, for the Christian, should be our relationship with God. When we spend a lot of time with Him each day, in prayer and the Word, we become more keenly aware of anything that comes our way that isn’t of Him.

I often say that our relationship with the Lord is like any other relationship. The more time we spend with someone the more we get to know his or her personality. We know what they like, and what they don’t like.  That’s why our personal time spent with God each day is so important. We begin to know what He is like, and when something or someone comes along that is not like Him; we will have much better discernment.

Satan’s tactics have not changed one bit. In the Garden of Eden he starts to mess with Eve’s mind. She listens to him, and thinks, “I guess he is right, God won’t care if I eat that apple.” Confusion sets in, and sin follows. Spending time searching the scriptures for answers tell us what God likes and what He doesn’t. If we can keep our minds full of God’s Word we will have better defense against being tricked into things by Satan.

The past is over, and we all blew it in one way or another in the past. We need to forget bad decisions, and get over it. We can’t change the past. The future can be better when we learn what God wants and stay in obedience to His rules, whether we like them or not.

Obedience brings true blessings! Beloved, today if you need to make a decision DO NOT do anything out of desperation. God has your answers, and He is more then willing to supply our needs when we ask Him!

Wait on the LORD!

Father, Help us to make Godly decisions today, and everyday. Give us wisdom, discernment and clear heads when making life long decisions. Thank you for being near to us 24/7. When we call, You answer us and send angels before us to prepare our way! In Your Name, the Name above all names we pray. Amen and Amen

May God be with you today, May He guide you and keep you safe from the wiles of the devil!

A California Earthquake?

Today while I was praying for my oldest son, who is away from God, and me, I was reminded of something. Was it a warning? Perhaps, we will have to pray about it.

In 1971 we were living in California in the San Fernando Valley, Granada Hills CA to be exact. My son’s birthday was February 8th. For some reason everyone in both of our families forgot his birthday. I was upset about it, and it was before I was saved. Meaning I was more upset about it then I should have been. I was pregnant with my second son and hormonal anyway. I cried most of the day about everyone forgetting Chris’s BD.

The next morning, early on February 9th, 1971, I was awoken by a huge boom! At first I thought a drunk had run into one of the cement pillars under our apartment. It happened frequently as we lived above the parking structure. But as I was contemplating that the earth started to shake violently and I realized we were having a very bad earthquake. We were evacuated shortly thereafter as a dam was damaged and getting ready to burst. We were in the direct path of the gushing water.

I was so scared and I remember thinking to myself, “I can’t believe I was so upset yesterday over nothing because now we are in a life threatening situation. As we say, “ In the blink of an eye everything can change.”

I believe that has been 48 years. They are way overdue for something big in that area. We need to pray about that.

Also, if someone reading this is really upset over something you are going through right this minute, let it go. We never know when things could be a whole lot worse!

Amen?

The Spirit Of Imaginations

Forty years ago I went for Christian Counseling with the pastor of the church I attended at that time.

The pastor said to me, “Cathie, you have a demon of imaginations oppressing you.” I said, “What are you talking about?” He went on to tell me that I was imagining things that were not true in my interactions with other people. He said that Satan was putting thoughts about situations, that were not true, in my mind and I was getting anxiety over these things and then would obsess over something I took personal that someone had said or done to me.

So guess what? I took offense to what that pastor said, thought he was nuts and never went back for counseling with him.

Many, many years after God said the same thing to me and this time it took. I was ready for the pain to go! I confessed my problem to God, got prayed over and started to let God renew my mind.

Now helping others, using what God showed and taught me, is something I do often. Obsessive thoughts of anger and resentment are not living our best lives. God can renew our minds once we admit our thoughts are out of control.

We can start By rebuking Satan for tempting us to abuse our gift of imagination

Let us avoid Eve’s mistake and not imagine things about God that are untrue as a result of Satan’s attacks on our thoughts. Like Jesus when He confronted Satan in the desert, we can rebuke the devil in Jesus’ name and command him to leave us. We will only serve God with our minds and make our thoughts obedient to Christ.

Matthew 4:10 ESV Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”

2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
