To His Precious Hurting Child

John 10:10 (GNT) The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life – life in all its fullness.

Never forget that the devil is a foe who constantly seeks to destroy us. Why? Because he knows his eventual end is Hell. He wants company there. He hates God and wants to steal His children.

Today while praying I sensed in the spirit there are many being hurt needlessly by someone on a regular basis. You think if you ignore them and love them unconditionally they will feel bad and change. In the meantime each day you feel a little bit worse about yourself.

Please remember that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian really is. Just like you don’t become a car by sitting in a garage, you don’t become a Christian by sitting in a church.

In an effort to destroy you the devil is using this person and the hurtful words that come out of their mouth. Pray for God’s salvation for this person because without a total commitment to God they won’t change.

Get out now and remove yourself from Satan’s territory.

Covenant Agreements With God

I bring this up because I think it will help someone to know this. I was counseling with someone yesterday that didn’t know this and she has been a longtime Christian.

In case you either have forgotten this or don’t know it; this is a reminder of something important.

I truly did not think of this until a woman I went to bible study with, many years ago, told me about it.

Let me use this story as an example.

I had a home that wasn’t selling. I prayed constantly about it and my bible study group prayed too. I needed to sell the home so that the kids and I could move to Seattle where the kids dad had been transferred.

In desperation one day I said to my bible study group, “Why isn’t this house selling? Pretty soon we are going to have two payments to make, one on this one and one on the house in Seattle.”

A lady in the group got a quizzical look on her face and said to me, “Cathie did you pray and ask God for the house you are living in now?” I told her that I had. She then said, “When you prayed and asked God for this house you came into Covenant agreement with Him. God will never break a covenant agreement. You will need to pray and ask God to allow you to break the covenant you came into for this house.”

I prayed and asked God to come out of agreement, God agreed and within less then a month the house sold.

So when you wonder what’s holding up your prayer requests stop and think if there is a covenant with God involving a prayer request that needs to be broken.

For instance say you prayed for a job you wanted and now you realize you want another job and you aren’t getting any offers, Try praying and ask God to allow you to break your covenant agreement for your current job and opening the door to a new one.

I don’t have time to list all the other scenarios but I am sure you get the idea. A new relationship may not be coming because you aren’t out of the covenant agreement you had with God concerning the last one you were in. This is just something to think about concerning unanswered prayers.

God takes covenant agreements very seriously and the only way out of one is to seek God’s permission.

Someone Needs This Message

Someone needs this

You keep letting someone you love make a fool of you. God loves you so much and as His beloved child his heart is broken.

You do not need this person. You are simply afraid to be alone. You have low, low self-esteem. Others look at you and cannot understand why you are letting yourself be disrespected in this way.

Love shouldn’t hurt.

Satan is using this person to destroy you. Walk away. God has a person for you that is waiting in the wings but unless you close this door you will never meet them.

Once Saved Always Saved? No

We all struggle with sin every day. I know I do. No one is perfect, I am far from it but I pray daily to do the will of God.

Nevertheless some are teaching doctrines of the devil saying we can do whatever we want and still be saved. Wrong. We have sent evangelists to other countries who taught that to people who became evangelists in those countries. The goal? Money. People will come and give you money to give them assurance they can do whatever they please. There are pastors in this country who do the same.

This is what the Word says, Jeremiah 23:1

New Living Translation

“What sorrow awaits the leaders of my people–the shepherds of my sheep–for they have destroyed and scattered the very ones they were expected to care for,” says the LORD.

The Bible warns against serious sins that will keep a person from entering God’s Kingdom. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21) If salvation could not be lost, such warnings would be meaningless. Instead, the Bible shows that someone who has been saved can fall away by returning to a practice of serious sin. For example, Hebrews 10:26 states: “If we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.”—Hebrews 6:4-6; 2 Peter 2:20-22.

Quit Telling People They Are Going To Hell

New International Version

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. John 16:13

I believe we are all born with a conscience and with the ability to tell right from wrong. Over the years, however, our consciences become numb. We often ignore sin, and it’s consequences, or we find excuses for why our favorite sin is okay.

This morning as I read through my Facebook feed I found a lot of people telling people that if they do not change their ways they are going to hell. I am sure that is true, but is saying these things the way to bring people to salvation?

I don’t know about you, but if I am weak in some area a person like that is the last person I will seek out for counsel.

First of all, according to the word of God, we are not to confront those who are loss with the consequences of sin, but rather those in the church who are involved in sin. You can study this yourself in Matthew 18:15-17.

We are to counsel people with love, not beat them over the head with our bibles.

The scripture I started with, above, tells us that the Holy Spirit will convince people of sin. Once a person is saved the Holy Spirit will clean that person up. Not me and not you, but the Holy Spirit.

I always use this analogy to make that point; Do you catch fish that are already cleaned? It would be nice, but it doesn’t happen that way. We catch them, then we clean them. Jesus told the disciples to leave their nets and go with Him and He would make them, “Fishers Of Men.”

So if a saved person continues in sin it only shows that they love the pleasure they get from that sin more then they love God. We are told to deny ourselves and “take up our cross and bear it.”

Anything, or anyone, we put above Jesus is an idol. Any sin we love more then God is an idol.

I will tell you how God handles people who call themselves Christians and play with sin. I know this well because I straddled the fence between God and the world for years. You need to understand that when we accept Christ, the same Christ who was savagely beaten to become the perfect sacrifice for our sins, we lay down our life and take up His. So, as Christ has no sin in Him, he sets about to clean us up.

In my life, one thing after the other would go wrong until I finally realized that God was giving me wake up calls. Once I repented, and quit doing what was wrong, things got better.

Do you ever observe another Christian, who is living a half-baked Christian life, complaining about all that is going wrong in their life? You know that person is playing with sin and you believe it’s because God is trying to wake them up, but the person keeps sinning because they don’t get it. God won’t let a Christian stay in sin because it cost him too much to allow it. He will either wake them up and they will straighten up or he will take them out. You may think that’s harsh but I have seen it.

So what should we do about this? All we can really do is pray for the person. If they ask for advice we THEN give it, but not unless they ask.

What we don’t do is go around telling folks they are going to hell. The Bible says that is the Holy Spirits Job. He will bring a born again Christian to repentance. He’s the only one who can.

It shows a self-righteousness that reminds me of the Pharisees when we constantly tell people they are going to hell. It also shows that we as Christians are not loving towards sinners but instead we sound judgmental, “I am better then you, you lowly sinner.”

God warned Peter that he would betray him three times before the cock crowed. Peter denied that he would ever do such a thing but the Word teaches us that he did just that.

The minute we start acting, “Holier then thou,” the biggest temptation of our lives will come at us and often it brings us down.

We can preach better with our lives then with our mouths! That’s why I say quit telling folks they are going to hell. Let the Holy Spirit do that. He will cause things to happen to bring about their total surrender, trust me. Just pray them into the Kingdom.

A Word For Someone

Someone needs to hear the following;

God says this morning, “Is your love for me depending on what I give you? If I never gave you anything you ask me for will you love me enough to still serve me?”

Trust God’s promises because He does not lie. He often tests our loyalty just as He did with Job.

I am reminded of Sarah who became miraculously pregnant in her old age.

God’s promises will be fulfilled.

He’s impressing on me to tell someone this morning,

“It will not come to your front door. Walk forward in faith as if it was already in your possession and as you walk out in faith I will open all the right doors in front you!”

8Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” John 5:8

Supernatural Healing

Today I am sharing this glorious story of supernatural healing written by a long gone saint of God, Smith Wigglesworth. It’s God’s will to heal us from the top of our heads to the souls of our feet! Be healed beloved of God in the mighty name of Jesus!

“We have a wonderful God, a God whose ways are past finding out, and whose grace and power are limitless. I was in Belfast one day and saw one of the brethren of the assembly. He said to me, “Wigglesworth, I am troubled. I have had a good deal of sorrow during the past five months. I had a woman in my assembly who could always pray the blessing of heaven down on our meetings. She is an old woman, but her presence is always an inspiration. But five months ago she fell and broke her thigh. The doctors put her into a plaster cast, and after five months they broke the cast. But the bones were not properly set and so she fell and broke the thigh again.”

He took me to her house, and there was a woman lying in a bed on the right hand side of the room. I said to her, “Well, what about it now?” She said, “They have sent me home incurable. The doctors say that I am so old that my bones won’t knit. There is no nutriment in my bones and they could never do anything for me, and they say I shall have to lie in bed for the rest of my life.” I said to her, “Can you believe God?” She replied, “Yes, ever since I heard that you had come to Belfast my faith has been quickened. If you will pray, I will believe. I know there is no power on earth that can make the bones of my thigh knit, but I know there is nothing impossible with God.” I said, “Do you believe He will meet you now?” She answered, “I do.”

It is grand to see people believe God. God knew all about this leg and that it was broken in two places. I said to the woman, “When I pray, something will happen.” Her husband was sitting there; he had been in his chair for four years and could not walk a step. He called out, “I don’t believe. I won’t believe. You will never get me to believe.” I said, “All right,” and laid my hands on his wife in the name of the Lord Jesus. The moment hands were laid upon her the power of God went right through her and she cried out, “I’m healed.” I said, “I’m not going to assist you to rise. God will do it all.” She rose and walked up and down the room, praising God.

The old man was amazed at what had happened to his wife, and he cried out, “Make me walk, make me walk.” I said to him, “You old sinner, repent.” He cried out, “Lord, You know I never meant what I said. You know I believe.” I don’t think he meant what he said; anyhow the Lord was full of compassion. If He marked our sins, where would any of us be? If we will meet the conditions, God will always meet us. If we believe, all things are possible. I laid my hands on him and the power went right through the old man’s body; and those legs, for the first time in four years, received power to carry his body, and he walked up and down and in and out. He said, “O what great things God has done for us tonight!”

“What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Desire toward God, and you will have desires from God; and He will meet you on the line of those desires when you reach out in simple faith.”

Words Of Knowledge For God’s People

Some Words For God’s People

I do not know why,but I do know I’d better obey, this whole week God has been saying, “ It’s the calm before the storm. Stay close to me, rest up and save your strength because what is coming will take all the spiritual strength you have and more!

I have been praying during this time for many people, some on my prayer list and some that God just brings to my mind.

Here are some of the things God has shown me In the spirit;

I see a man who is literally at his wits end. He walks around all day with a smile on his face but truthfully he is torn to shreds emotionally. He is thinking of committing suicide. He has gone so far as thinking of different ways to do it. He is worn out from his stressful job and money worries. He loves his wife but her constant complaints are wearing him out. He needs help and feels there is nowhere to go, no one seems to care. God wants you to hold on brother! He cares and wants you to know he sees and is getting ready to increase your finances. You must hold on just a while longer because there is a promotion ahead for you. Just don’t blow it with “your mouth.” This is a time to trust nobody but me, says Father God, keep your anger inside. Soon everything at work will make perfect sense. Amen?

There is a woman God is showing me who is very devious. She is working against a woman of God. You think she is your friend, beloved sister, but she is two-faced. She says one thing when she is with you and it’s not the same things she says when you are not there. If you do not get her out of your life she will destroy it. God says to fast and pray. Surround yourself with angels and keep her as far away from you as possible. She is jealous of what you have and who you are. She pretends to be a sister in Christ but she has a Jezebel spirit and would love to destroy your relationships by telling lies about you. Bind that Jezebel spirit and keep her out of your inner circle. God will cover you and what she has planned for you will fall back on her. Amen!

Don’t Give Up On Yourself God Hasn’t

This evening the Lord brought David to my mind. I was thinking about how many times over the years people have said to me, “ You don’t know what I have done. It’s so bad that God won’t forgive me, He doesn’t want me. Trust me I can never be forgiven.”

Someone needs to know that there is no one so bad they will not be forgiven.

Remember David, the giant killer in the Old Testament. He was highly anointed by God. He was God’s man. Yet, at one point in his life he fell into lust with Bathsheba and had her husband, one of his soldiers, murdered so that he could have Bathsheba to himself.

Yes, it was bad. But through a series of circumstances God brought David to ask his forgiveness. David repented and was restored to fellowship and never did anything like that again.

When God anoints you, you do not lose that anointing as long as you ask God’s forgiveness, repent and avoid sin.

We may give up on any of us. We may give up on ourselves, people may give up on us but when God has a calling on your life, He has a calling on your life.

God has something for you to do beloved. Something you were called for. Pick yourself up and start again.

When It’s Hard To Trust God

Trust

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Do you ever, like me, have times when you cannot understand what God is doing in your life? Times when you say to God, “I don’t know why you let this stuff happen to me?”

For me it happens less now, but it still happens. When it does happen I have to still my mind, start praying in tongues and say, “Father, calm me. I know this is your will for me at this moment!”

If you are in a place like this right this minute, you must trust God anyway. Say to yourself, “This is a test, I will take it and I will pass it with flying colors by trusting God and being patient.”

Through the years I have realized that we cannot learn to trust God if we never go through situations in which our trust is tested.

I have known people who never had a problem in their lives. They have never known what it is to do without the basic necessities. They come from wealthy families and that wealth has been turned over to them, commonly.

Those people, however, never learn to trust so when the moment comes when something unexpected happens to them they literally fall to pieces because they have never experienced losing anyone, anything, or doing without.

So, like Job, we learn that we do not have to be out of God’s will to be tested. God loves us and wants the best for us. It helps to remember that, during times of wondering what in the world is causing a delay to our prayers.

Without an unconditional trust in God our lives will be miserable. Each one of us has times when we experience the silence of God. We have times of questioning, as Job did.

The sooner we quit stressing, quit telling everyone our problems and just relax in trust, the more peaceful our lives will be.

I have found that as I let go of worry, questioning of God, and stressing and telling my problems to everyone, God miraculously answers my prayers quickly.

Take a deep breath. Breathe in to the count of four and then let the air out of your lungs slowly. It will be okay. Even if nobody in your whole life has been trustworthy, God is and will be with you through this storm and all the storms of your life!
