Satan Wants To Destroy You

Satan is not stupid. He has been studying you since the day you were born because his goal, his only goal, is to take as many people to hell with him as possible.

He will bring something or someone that looks like everything you have ever wanted to destroy you.

You will be so thrilled with the person you will forget they aren’t a bible believing Christian. You will be so thrilled with the car you won’t see that you will have to work two jobs to keep it. You will be so in love with the beautiful house on the hill that you will forget the fact that you wanted a starter home to build up equity and not have to rent anymore.

So many times well meaning Christians are in bad situations because of Satan putting something in front of them they really didn’t need in order to destroy them and their peace.

If you are there today pray in contrite sorrow and ask God to forgive you for putting things and people before Him. When we sincerely repent God comes on the scene and delivers us. Learn from the lessons, beloved of the Lord, and vow to God you will not repeat them. Put him in the center of all your decisions and you will do the right thing!

Self Control

Self control is not something we get by gritting our teeth and forcing ourselves to “ just say no.” In the Bible self-control is referred to as a fruit of the Spirit. Fruit doesn’t instantly pop out on a tree. As the tree grows and seasons pass, the fruit naturally develops. As we continue to follow God’s guidance, taking one step at a time, our self control will gradually grow. Our job is to stay connected to God. It’s the Holy Spirit’s job to produce the fruit of self control in our lives. Galatians 5:16-17.

A Word About The Current Situation

Last night I was feeling fine and got ready for bed. I was tired and looking forward to restful sleep.

As some of you know I have Lupus, IBD and a broken vertebrae with two badly compressed discs. Most days I would rather stay in bed but my husband is now 75% blind and needs my help. I am forced to get up. Perhaps that’s a good thing.

I would never make it without Christ! Never..

Just as I was putting my feet into bed a gut wrenching pain hit my body. Out of nowhere my sciatica was causing the worst pain of my life. I couldn’t understand where this had come from. I hadn’t lifted anything or turned my body suddenly. I was literally crying with pain.

It was then I realized it was an attack from Satan.

As I cried out for God to help me, and prayed and praised in the spirit, the Lord began to download into my spirit a word about the current situation in the World, and especially the USA.

Perhaps the pain was God’s way to still me and get my attention because this morning it’s almost gone.

The Lord said to me, “Daughter Satan’s Army is advancing quickly. The lies are from the pits of hell and it’s becoming harder for a lot of midstream Democrats to stay true to a party who manipulates and uses dirty tricks to obtain their objective of One World Government.

I have used the Kavanaugh situation for several reasons. Kavanaugh was born and raised in privilege and up until now has not experienced the full force of evil coming against him. Now he is awake. Now he sees the dirty tricks for what they are. The anger he expressed was righteous anger. The kind of anger my son had when he went into the temple and said, “You have turned my father’s house into a den of thieves.” Kavanaugh knows now that Satan is working through them and is fully awake.

This is a warning to be aware of your surroundings at all times. People are angry and cannot handle the truth of what is being unleashed on the world. They are not close to me and most don’t want to be as they prefer the works of the flesh. Without a belief in me they are following their base natures. Without belief they are empowered to do what ever comes to their minds.

You are seeing and hearing things being done to children you would never have believed people capable of doing. Satan always attacks the seed of man as it was when Pharaoh gave the command to kill all the Hebrew firstborn. Protect your children with prayer. Teach them to pray. Their angels surround them.

I warn you that you must stay fasting, as often as possible, and praying because prayer and the Word are your greatest weapons against Satan’s Army of evil people. This is not the time to be complacent. Sweet words tickle the ears but the truth of the situation must be shared.

Kavanaugh is the first of many prominent people who are going to have their eyes open to the evil you are fighting against. They will finally see the truth that has been hidden to them because of their lives of wealth and privilege. If you think there will be peace in the world you are mistaken. It will only get worse and when it feels as if you cannot take anymore you will look up and see me coming in the clouds to take you home.

When you stay true to Me you walk in My supernatural favor. I will be moving many of you to different towns, neighborhoods and even countries. You have been assigned a specific place and even specific people are assigned to you. Your bright light will put out the darkness in many peoples lives. Stay plugged into my power. I will see that you have supernatural provision for all I have for you to do in my behalf. Stay humble and kind. I will do miracles in the lives on my people for the very reason that the unsaved will see these miracles and know you have Me working in your lives.

I am putting Christian men and women together to work powerfully in the Kingdom. People who do not belong in my children’s lives will leave them. Let them go because I will replace them with true believers. What do the Children of light have to do with the children of Darkness?

Look at all things happening through the eyes of the kingdom. When you do that it all makes more sense to you and you will not worry. I am in complete control!”

He’s Your Ride Or Die God

“This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.b I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jeremiah 29:10-14
Sometimes our lives make absolutely no sense at all. We have a vision of what we want our lives to look like but then things happen that were not in our script. Things like job lay offs, illnesses, tragedies, misunderstandings and betrayals. People come and people go unexpectedly and suddenly we are in the middle of a life we hadn’t planned on having.

In my life I have learned that these changes, these life-events, force us to face our vulnerabilities. Some of these changes we face in life make us realize that we are not perfect and we can’t do things the way we want to do them anymore.

If you are lucky you will have one or two “ride or die” friends that stick by you during these unexpected life changes. But truthfully those friends are rare. There is an old song with a line in it that goes, “Nobody wants you when you are down and out.” Maybe like me you found that out too.

I had one person I considered a ride or die friend, but then I found out she had told things about my life, and problems, to her whole family. As a matter of fact some of them listened in to our phone conversations. That betrayal was painful, but in the long run it only served to bring me closer to God and left her wondering why I no longer wanted to be her friend.

Like me you may have found that God is the only person who you can go to and be honest with about your feelings that will not betray you and derive pleasure from your downfall.

When, due to my husband’s catastrophic illness, we lost our entire savings our life changed in so many ways. Losing our life savings, due to all the things that come along with health challenges that health insurance just doesn’t cover, caused life changes in our living style. We lived in a beautiful 3,000 square foot home at the time, and then, when that got too expensive we leased a home to buy it because our credit was ruined too. We lost that home due to a breach of contract by the crazy owner, and ended up in a small home that we were thankful to have. At one time it looked as if we would be living in our car.

Instead of offering actual help many people either ignored us, gossiped about us, or offered to pray for us. Yes, the prayer is much needed but showing up and just helping works well too. Many times people in life crisis are too depressed to even get dressed so understand that too!

I could go on and on but I know that many of you reading this could tell your own stories. You are here, but holding on to your faith in God like a titanic survivor holding onto a life raft.

Don’t try to make much sense of it because I have found that do to that is a horrible waster of time and brings in a horrible sense of self-pity. You start thinking about one thing that is wrong and then that cascades into a series of thinking of everything else that went wrong. Before you know it you are in bed, can’t get up or get dressed and horribly depressed.

As a counselor I have heard many tales of people trying to cope with life changes in bizarre ways. My favorite by far is the one of a woman whose marriage fail completely apart a week after her husband had sent her a dozen roses at work for her birthday. After bragging to everyone at work about how blessed she was to have him she found out he was not only involved with another woman but the woman was pregnant with his child. She went to the store and bought a case of Jiffy Peanut Butter and sat in bed with a spoon eating it and throwing the empty jars on the floor. When she finally let her mother into the house her mother saw the trail of empty peanut butter jars and spoons and said, “Honey, you have to snap out of this.” Yes, we both laughed about it. However, if you have ever been anywhere close to devastated in life, you can certainly understand.

Until I really experienced it myself I never knew the desperation behind the statement, “What am I going to do now!”

I want you to know that there is hope, you will make it. You don’t think so, but you will. You will come out the other side of this much a much better person then you were before. You will survive.

The key is to come to terms with the problem. Realize it won’t change but that’s okay you ARE GOING TO MAKE IT. Once you can quit feeling sorry for yourself you simple get up, shower, dress and set about to create a new story of your life. In this story you are the heroine that overcomes. You will put one foot in front of the other and survive and learn so much in doing so. One step at a time and one day at a time. You are fierce and you are strong. You are not going to let whatever broke you destroy you. Against all odds you are going to make a new, beautiful life for yourself. The only ones who don’t make it, truthfully, are the ones who don’t accept the truth and determine to move on.

You are going to have to do that anyway, so why not today! Change your story, write a new script. In this story you, like Scarlett O’Hara in Gone With The Wind, make up your mind that as God is your witness you will never be destroyed like this again! You are a survivor. Life messed with the wrong person!

Pray and ask God to help you. He will, He is just waiting for you to get up first. When he healed the man outside of the waters of Bethesda he said to the man, “Get up. Take your mat and get up!” Then, God worked in his behalf and healed him. He will do the same for you!

To His Precious Hurting Child

John 10:10 (GNT) The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life – life in all its fullness.

Never forget that the devil is a foe who constantly seeks to destroy us. Why? Because he knows his eventual end is Hell. He wants company there. He hates God and wants to steal His children.

Today while praying I sensed in the spirit there are many being hurt needlessly by someone on a regular basis. You think if you ignore them and love them unconditionally they will feel bad and change. In the meantime each day you feel a little bit worse about yourself.

Please remember that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian really is. Just like you don’t become a car by sitting in a garage, you don’t become a Christian by sitting in a church.

In an effort to destroy you the devil is using this person and the hurtful words that come out of their mouth. Pray for God’s salvation for this person because without a total commitment to God they won’t change.

Get out now and remove yourself from Satan’s territory.

He Wants You To Stand Still

You think you have a problem today? How about this one?

The Israelites were in a world of hurt. They had the Red Sea in front of them and Pharaohs Egyptian Army in back of them.

Exodus 14:10-14 10And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD. 11And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. 13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

The Lord wants you to do the same thing that he told the Israelites to do STAND STILL THE LORD SHALL FIGHT FOR YOU HOLD YOUR PEACE.

But standing still sounds like doing nothing to most of us. We rush around, we wring our hands and we say, “Lord, what am I going to do?” We all get that manipulative Jezebel spirit on us every now and then. We think we have to figure it out. When we cannot do that we call first one friend and then another and pour out our problems hoping that they will help us.

The Word of God tells us the following; I lift up my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? 2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2

Our help comes from God. Not from mom and dad, not from our best friend, but from GOD.

I was doing a bible study on “standing still” today. It is amazing how many times, in so many verses of the bible, God tells us to stand still.

“Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!” 1 Samuel 12:16

“Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:10

“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20-17

You may be thinking, “I am going to do this, or I am going to do that!” God is saying to you today beloved, STAND STILL.

God is not a man that EVER lies. He will do this for you and do it in a way you may never have thought of and from the hand of someone whom you never imagined blessing you.

Calm yourself. Sit down, take a deep breath in and hold it to the count of five, and then release it to the count of 5. Then say, “I am standing still and I am quiet while God solves this problem for me. I relax in peace because I belong to God and He is working this out for me now! I may not see Him at work but I knowHe is because His Word says He is.” Then relax. When the worry thoughts come back to you again, courtesy of the tormentor of your soul, do the same exact thing.

A Renewed Mind

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

More and more these days God’s people are becoming apathetic to the things of God. Nothing gets them “stirred up” You might be thinking to yourself, “I sure wish I could get excited about the Word of God and God’s work, but I just don’t feel that way anymore.”  What can you do to be stirred up for God?

Who do you spend your time around? If we spend our time around lifeless people who do nothing but complain we soon find that we “adapt” to their ways and start complaining too.

I have a certain friend who calls me and loves to complain. Nothing is ever right with her, nothing good, according to her, ever happens to her and she sees herself as a victim. The problem with that is that the “bad thing” that happened to her happened over six years ago. Still she is stuck in the self-pity mode. When I get off the phone with her I feel as if that spirit of depression that surrounds her, has attached itself to me. Now I feel down.

When we get like that we need to quit wishing things would change and take action ourselves to change things. The longer we hang out and feel sorry for ourselves the worse our lives will be. Feeling sorry for ourselves won’t change a thing. It doesn’t matter that we have every reason to feel bad about things that happened to us.

We need to stop whining. I used to do that. I would sit down and think about something that was done to me or something I had lost through the cruelty of someone else. I would think about how unfair it was and then I would start to cry and pick up the phone and dump on first one person then another.

One day God spoke to me as clear as a bell, and said, “You need to make a choice here, you can forget the past and move forward into the Promised Land I have for you, or you can remain pitiful forever.” Paul said the following regarding forgetting the past;

“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13:14

It is really quite simple. We make it harder then it is. When Satan brings thought to us regarding hurtful things of our pasts, we can make a choice to tell him. “Buzz off Satan, that’s the past and I am moving forward.” Then we make a concentrated effort to put our minds on something else. We just won’t allow ourselves to wallow in self-pity anymore. It’s over, it happened and nothing can change it. We accept it, and we move on. PERIOD.

Now, we find a group of people who are excited about the things of God. Their excitement will “rub off” on us. They have plans and they have visions. If you attend a dead church where you walk in there on Sunday, punch a ticket and walk out and forget what you learned that day, you are not where God wants you to be.

You need to get the strength inside of you to move on and visit someplace else. I don’t care if you and your whole family have gone to that church for fifty years. You need to move on to a place where God is moving mightily in folk’s lives.

God wants us to be on fire for Him, and He wants us to associate with others who can motivate the Holy Spirit within us. We are always to be motivated by what is inside of us, and not by things on the outside. I believe the reason for such apathy in Christians today is that we tend to spend too much time in the world and not enough time with other believers.

When you make up your mind to find Christian fellowship God will present opportunities to you.  But that is the point today, it’s all about changing our outlook, by changing or minds about how bad our lives are, and going into another direction mentally with God.

We can do all things through Christ, who will strengthen us. If we continue to dwell in self-pity, Satan has us where he wants us, down and defeated. He gets a lot of mileage out of things that we refuse to let go of.

It breaks my heart when I see people who ruin each day by dwelling on something that happened in the past that cannot be changed. I have so many of those situations in my own life. If I wanted to dwell there I would probably go nuts.  God showed me that time wasted in self-pity is time that we can never get back. Today might be the last day for anyone of us. Only God knows how much time we have. I want to make the most of each and every moment. I want to choose to live happy in whatever time I have left. I want to be used of God, and God can’t use negative, unhappy people.

If you are still dwelling on something from your past, let it go. If you are a defeated Christian that has been saved for ten years or more, and you still seek comfort from others, rather then giving comfort to others, you need to grow up and mature in Christ.

Confront the lies of the enemy. Don’t constantly sit around wishing for you life to change so that you can be used of God. God wants to use you NOW.  God will use us for His glory in whatever situation we are in today. There is no such thing as the perfect life. There never has been and there never will be.  We need to learn to bloom where we are planted.

Constant self-pity is self-centered behavior. We can come out of it by putting our minds on someone else and solving their problem for them. God and His people should be our priority, not our own lives. Today, lets decide to not dwell on our past hurts. Lets’ put them behind us, take God’s hand and walk forward into the plan He has had for us from the beginning of time.

Father, we take our eyes off of our problems and ourselves. Put Your Hand over our mouths when we start to “go there.”  Turn our lives around today as we seek to be a problem solver for others. Bring happy, on fire for YOU Christians across our paths. In Your Name the Name above all names we pray today. Amen and Amen.

Another Word From God

As I mentioned on Facebook the other night as we were listening to a Messianic message online, the Spirit Of The Lord fell in the room and enveloped me with a supernatural peace. Then I sensed God giving me a message for someone. Yesterday afternoon I could discern an angel of the Lord around me. My little cocker spaniel sensed it at the same time and the size of the angel frightened her. She moved towards me frightened.

I have seen angels at different times in my life. One time I visited a friend’s church with her family. At the end of the service the pastor asked the congregation to pray for him as he was going into the jail to minister to the folks. As he said that I looked up and on either side of him there were two HUGE angels. They were at least 10 feet tall. I looked around wondering if anyone else saw it and the women who had brought me there was standing next to me, with her mouth wide open. She said, “Cathie did you see what I saw!” I told her I had and for some reason she and I were the only two who saw them. We then told the pastor and it encouraged him so much. This was a little church in the south valley in Albuquerque. Not a mega church. But the Holy Spirit, in my experience, has shown himself more in little congregation then the Mega Churches. Those ministers are on fire for God and do not make the same mega salary and yet God sustains them.

Now today God has given me another message for someone. I sat with it all day wanting to pray over it and as I did I am now sure it’s from God. I always test the spirits as the Bible says, “Know ye also that Satan can come as an angel of light.”

Someone is up nights wringing your hands. You are almost broke and any savings you have is almost gone. The spirit of God says you have someone close to you who continues to beg you for money. They never have any because they live above their means and then run to you for basic necessities and you have been giving it to them. Sometimes you go without yourself to give them money. You are buying their love because you think if you don’t give them money they will not love you anymore. They have used that because they know how you are and they emotionally blackmail you. God says you have bought people’s love your entire life. As a child you had an out of balance parent who constantly put you down and their words soaked into your spirit and as a consequence you felt you were not worthy of love but that’s a lie from the pits of hell meant to curse you and not bless you. Now God wants you to put a stop to the giving. The person needs to depend on God, not you, to meet their needs. You now have gotten yourself into a financial bind, but God says as you refuse to give money to this person anymore their respect for you will return and they will realize their life needs a major overhaul.

As you do this God will part the Red Sea of your difficulties and provide you with the finances you so desperately needs. Trust that God is by your side as you tell the person you will no longer support their lifestyle. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Someone Needs This Message

Someone needs this

You keep letting someone you love make a fool of you. God loves you so much and as His beloved child his heart is broken.

You do not need this person. You are simply afraid to be alone. You have low, low self-esteem. Others look at you and cannot understand why you are letting yourself be disrespected in this way.

Love shouldn’t hurt.

Satan is using this person to destroy you. Walk away. God has a person for you that is waiting in the wings but unless you close this door you will never meet them.

The Tense Political Season In America

Lion roaring - no weapon formed against us!

Noticing all the hateful and cruel things said to people in this political climate, I have been studying demonic oppression again.

Sometimes we forget that at one time Satan was a glorious angel who served God. He began to become full of pride and started a rebellion. Then he was kicked out of heaven and down to earth. However, according to the Bible 1/3 of the previous angelic beings went with Him. They too were thrown to earth. You may have heard these beings referred to as “fallen angels.”

Satan was already in rebellion when he led Eve to rebel against God in the Garden of Eden, by eating of the forbidden fruit. This would indicate that Satan’s rebellion against God was probably before the Heavens and Earth (as we know them) was created.

Sometimes we meet evil people. People who for no reason at all seem to delight in stirring up trouble for people. In praying about this once, God revealed to me that in those cases those people, unknowingly, have demon oppression and those demons recognize Christ in us and they find that threatening.

I bring this up to remind you that all the evil that surrounds us these days has a source. That source is Satan. So, as they say, consider the source.

I believe that all the political fighting is becoming very stressful to people in both parties. Think about a contentious relationship that you may have had in the past. It might have been so filled with fighting and dysfunction that you literally became ill. When I was in a marriage like that I simply wanted out, so that I could live in peace and serenity again. At one point you realize that the person causing the dysfunction will not change and so you simply give up and separate from them in order to save your soul.

Perhaps all this contention will lead to people deciding not to care about politics anymore. After all where does it get you? No one is likely to change his or her opinion because of something someone else says to them on Social Media.

What I feel God has instructed me to do is to simply keep quiet and stay in peace He especially instructed me to do that with those whose political views are different from mine. The scripture that comes to me often is “Be still and know that I am GOD!”

I turn off my television often. I then pray, read the Word of God and take care of things around the house I have neglected.

This is a very tense situation and I want you to know that God has warned me that it may get very bad before its all over. God recently gave me direction in the following scripture verse;

“Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.” Isaiah 20

So, if the worst, whatever that turns out to be, happens I ask you to heed the word of the Lord and not get into the middle of it. I do not want to get into a political discussion here but there are several things brewing on the political scene that may turn out to be bad for us all. Please remember the above verse. Stop, think and then act as a last resort.

God is in control and he is greater then any spiritual battle we may be facing as well.

Remember regardless of what party you favor, there are good and bad people in charge and our God is in heaven and He will take care of His people. Of that, I have no doubt.
