Love Addiction

My main passion is counseling and coaching Love Addiction with a 100% Christian perspective. Continuing to stay with someone who is controlling, verbally, emotionally and physically abusive, with the excuse, “but I love him/her” will destroy a person. It will cause you to have a very hard time trusting. It will cause you to be physically and mentally ill.

Recently a Christian couple came to visit with us. During the time they were here, which wasn’t long, not only did he shut her up every time she started to speak by saying things like, “Don’t say that.” He also keep shutting us up too. He is the most controlling person I have ever met. For those who know me you know I am nice until pushed to the max. Finally I said to the man, “Okay, we are all going to shut up. Say what ever YOU want to say.”

Recently I saw the woman and she must have put on 50 lbs since Christmas. In her case it’s a sign of self-medicating with food and withholding her feelings. Just to be clear that is not the cause of being overweight with everyone.

The sad part is the man calls himself a Christian.

When he left Chuck and I were so shocked by this man that we just looked at each other with our mouths open! Neither of us had encountered a demonic spirit speaking through a person, in that particular way, before! Never, ever!

If you are interested I have a book on Love Addiction on Kindle that is a result of over 10 years of God downloading information to me regarding Love Addiction. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B8G1W4Q

I also offer telephone counseling and coaching that is donation based. If you are interested message me through

Thus Sayeth Yeshua, Death Of Loved Ones

Thus Sayeth Yeshua,

You have asked about death my child. When my children pray for a love one, who is dying, to be healed they don’t understand when the loved one dies and is not healed. It breaks my heart to see the tears of my beloved children when they separate from a loved one through death.

If you only knew, my child, how peaceful and beautiful it is on this side, you would pray instead for me to take those you love. My children, in suits of flesh, see through the glass darkly, not yet grasping the wonderful place that heaven really is. Imagine beautiful blue lakes, surrounded by lush green lawns, and the bluest sky you have ever seen with cool breezes ruffling the leaves of lush, full green trees. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm and waves of joy pulse through each person constantly.

I understand you love them so much and your life is lonely without them. I know your heart breaks when you remember them with you and all the wonderful things you did. Even mothers that lose babies ache to feel them in their arms just once more and cry out to me, “Why, why didn’t you heal my child, Lord!”

Trust me, my child. I am all-knowing and see the life ahead for each and every person. When a decision is made, in the courts of heaven, to bring them home it’s because we are either saving them from pain ahead or releasing them from the pain they suffer here.

You asked about suicide victims. You must not look down on them as not being strong. You need to know that I judge the heart, and I am a loving judge. At the point of suicide the mind is not functioning correctly and things are not as they seem on the outside. They are so burdened down with pain, that they seek release in the only way that makes sense to them at the time.

You would judge differently if you remember that I am the potter. I made everyone of my children. I cannot stop my unconditional love for my children anymore then you can for yours. Always show mercy to those who were not strong enough to carry on and completely release them into my hands.

You earth bound children spend a lot of time thinking about who will go to heaven and who will not. You often shun certain sinners thinking that their sin is the biggest sin there is and thinking for sure when they die they go right into hell. Just like some of you I have some children that are away from me, but remember I made them all! I knew what they were going to do. When these people die their families miss them terribly too. Show compassion to all who grieve the death of a loved one. Leave judgment to me.

There are many, many things you do not understand now, and never will until you are in heaven. These are things too glorious for you to understand yet.

Let the fact that your loved ones who die are now free of pain and happy and completely healed with me, fill your hearts and your spirits. Do you trust me, my child? If so be filled with peace and release the dead into my arms!

One thing you must never forget, love is eternal. You will see your love again when you are reunited in heaven. You are not separated from them forever, just temporarily. Rest in that thought and rest in my peace as you grieve the loss of your loved one.

John 5:24 Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

Revelation 14:13

13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

Monday Musings

So many Christians have been under full attack in the past few years. We have lost people we love from our lives, material possessions, reputations, and/or our health.

We feel as if all this brokenness has gotten us to the point of total surrender. We love God and we have determined to never leave His side because He is our only safe harbor.

But, beloved of the Lord, we still haven’t “arrived” yet. We have not, nor will we ever, reach a time where we are left alone. Satan harassed Jesus until the very end. People spoke horrific things to him and spit on Him on the cross.

I see and feel God working in the area of sins we may have battled since childhood. I see God making us more aware of how these things need to go as we ask for a deeper and closer walk with Him.

One area God was speaking to me about yesterday was unanswered prayer. What keeps our prayers from being answered?

For a lot of us it’s conditional love. We simply don’t like some people. They “rub” us the wrong way. In our heads we have a constant dialogue running. The largest huddle to jump over is hate. I have asked God to help me to find unconditional love for these people. I ask Him to allow me to see people through his eyes of unconditional love. Hate, gossip, jealousy, not forgiving, all these things HINDER PRAYER.

Have a blessed week!

Trusting God When Nothing Is Making Sense

All day long I have felt the Lord laying it on my heart to share this with people who are feeling so frustrated with the way their life is going. People who believe God gave them a promise for their life and they see no evidence of it year after year after year. As a matter of fact some of you are wondering if you really did hear from God!

I have heard the story of Samson and Delilah my whole life. There is a part of it that God used yesterday in order to show me something I had not seen in the same way before. I was listening to Pastor Steven Furtick preach on the story yesterday when God opened my eyes to something through his sermon.

The part that came alive to me was the part in JUDGES 13. An Angel Of The Lord appears to Samson’s mother:

“Now therefore, please be careful not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean. For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.” (Judges 13:4 & 13-14)

So she is told her son was to be used to deliver Israel out of the hands of the Philistines. She followed all the rules. She, and her husband, took time to raise Samson in the house of God. God had something important for their son to do. He was God’s anointed.

Time passes. When he was a young adult, Samson left the hills of his people to see the cities of Philistia. He fell in love with a Philistine woman from Timnah, whom he decided to marry, ignoring the objections of his parents, who were concerned because the Israelites were forbidden to marry Gentiles.

About now, if I was Samson’s mother, I would be thinking, “How can this be Lord? What you said to me had nothing to do with my son marrying the enemy! What is going on?”

As we read the whole story we come to see that what looked like a terrible mistake actually was part of God’s plan.

A lot of us think our miracle is going to be straight forward. Now when things aren’t looking good and everything is going crazy, we might be tempted to give up our dream.

What we fail to see is that when everything in the natural is looking bad, we have to stay calm. God will do what he said he will do, just like he did with Samson eventually. We have to trust the plan because God will not do it in the way it makes sense to us, instead he will do it in a way in which, when it happens against all odds, not just us, but all those watching, will know it was only because of God that we got our miracle!

You might not see it right now, beloved, but if you simply trust God, like a well woven quilt, your life is all going to all come together for your GOOD.

Are People From Your Past Trying To Destroy Your Life?

TwoFaced

Phillipians 3:13-14

Brothers and Sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

Forgetting what is behind, simply means forgetting the past and straining towards what is ahead simply means I go forward to what God has for me to do. The life God has planned for us has nothing to do with our past.

I recently got a little depressed. Because I know God has completely healed me of depression I begin to pray about it and asked God for knowledge and wisdom to see what was going on.

God began to teach me something that I now would like to teach you.

Do you have people, possibly family, who remembers all the ugliness of your past and still like to torture you over it. They like to use it against you and often try to remind others of it to get them to think less of you too. Sometimes they do it really covertly. Perhaps in a room full of people they like to say how proud they are of you because you no longer do this, that or the other. You cringe. You really didn’t want those particular people to know about your past. If you did you would have mentioned it yourself. Yes, you are blessed that God set you free but that is the past and you want to leave it there because people begin to then associate what they know about your past, with you, and often NOT what God is doing now through you.

It’s especially upsetting when these family members are unsaved and still have all kinds of things going on in their lives that God doesn’t approve of.

I have an interesting testimony in that I was saved and then backslid terribly before I finally totally committed to the Lord almost 20 years ago.

Recently I came to the knowledge that a person in my family has almost single handedly destroyed my relationship with just about everyone in my family of origin. Now this person has not spoken to me in over 17 years. The person has no idea what my life is like, the peaceful life I spend with the Lord, and the fact that I counsel and teach others to also find peace in God, is not even known by this person. I am not exactly sure what I did to make this person despise me, I am not even sure the person knows. The very fact that they can still hurt me with these things can only mean one thing. They are operating under the influence of a demonic spirit. I don’t think they realize that, but thats what it is.

This Winter someone else in my family starting spending time with this man and the next thing you know I began to feel under attack. I was being attacked in my emotions and frankly in my physical health.

It took a while before I realized I was under an attack. Studying this the Lord brought me step by step to what He wanted to show me.

First of all when we go through things in our live’s that are things that open doors to demonic oppression we create situations that allow Satan to be present. When we completely come away from these things and totally commit our lives to God we need to also go through a time a repentance and restoration. What I didn’t realize completely is that there are some people from our pasts that we cannot let back into our lives until they are also totally committed to Christ. Unfortunately these people are often family.

Some people do not want to ever except the fact that a born again friend or family member has changed. To do so would mess up the whole story of their life that they have used to garner self-pity regarding their own lives. People will say, “But you said this that or the other! I thought this person did this, that or the other” They are not willing or wanting to have Christ in their own life. You changing proves it can be done and they don’t want to surrender. They are still in bondage to the sin in their life and they are not ready, maybe they will never be, to get rid of it.

My depression was coming from this person reminding me of things that God says in the Word He has totally forgotten. This person was saying things about me that are not true. I finally realized, as hurtful as it is and as much as I love the person, there is no longer room in my life for someone who finds joy in hurting me.

The past, and most of the people we were involved with there, needs to be just that PAST.

We cannot allow relationship with people who are determined to hate us. It doesn’t matter who they are. Any person who is condescending to us or constantly brings up the past is doing the devils work and needs to go.

Who does God say we are? Thats what matters. Any person with the Spirit of God in them will realize that what this person says is no longer true. What do we need to have fellowship with the darkness for anyway? LET THEM GO.

Pray for the soul-tie with that person to be broken. Pray for God’s cleansing LIGHT to be poured over the part of your body that is physically hurting over the mental anguish this person has caused and then LET THEM GO.

If you are feeling out of sorts, depressed and hopeless, examine your life. Who from your past is still in it? Anything we once had in common with the unsaved is a demon. Friendship with that person, or people who still befriend that person, is not what God wants for us. Why would a true friend, a true Christian, want to associate with someone who puts you down? These people are two-faced. They will keep you around to pray for them or lift them up when they hit rock bottom, which they constantly do.

Watch closely over who you have let in your life. These people are often the cause of your bad feelings. You don’t need them, and the demonic activity they bring with them. Satan uses your kind heart against you. These people need to be left to their own devices. Only when they are truly at the bottom will they come to Christ.

A Word For The Discouraged

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.  1 John 4:1

Not all that glitters is gold, is a cliché that a lot of us grew up with. Yet, still in this day and age, we get fooled often because we want to find the perfect relationship, perfect job, and we want joy in our lives.

We often spend a lot of time praying for our miracle, and then when we “think” we have it, we start ignoring all “red flags” and we are sure that this person, job or “thing” is from God. Then when things turn out badly, we turn around and blame God.

I have finally gotten to a point in my walk, where I never blame God when things go wrong. I know, without a doubt, that all things that happen in my life that are less then perfect, are because I wanted something and didn’t take the time to pray over the situation or they come directly from the hand of the devil.

The devil is the enemy of the soul of every single Christian. Like he did with Job, the devil studies us to find out area’s of our weaknesses and that is where he hits us.

Sometimes it feels, these days, as if we barely get through one rough time before another one is on our doorstep. We get tired and we get weary, and we become more vulnerable to taking the first solution we see that might be an answer.

Psalm 34:18 tell us the following:

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

When we are suffering in our emotions, or health area’s, because of a poor decision we made, that should be a clue to us to take our own inventories. When faced with the consequences of bad decisions, it’s important to ask ourselves what pattern in our lives are we constantly repeating? If we can pinpoint that pattern we can save ourselves a lot of pain.

I counsel people sometimes who get so tired and weary with doing everything alone, that they look at the first person that comes along as someone who can rescue them. Having been a single mom for years I understand. But when I help someone who has rushed into a situation that turned out badly, out of desperation, I counsel them to trust in God in the future and not another frail human being.

It’s the same with bad jobs. We need money, we have to eat and pay the bills and so we jump head first into the first opportunity that presents itself only to say to ourselves later, “I hate this job!”

What God has shown me is that we must get to a point that we trust God, more then other people, to be the solution to our problems. Trusting God means we can sit still and wait until the right opportunity presents itself.

Trusting God means we can pray for wisdom and discernment before making life-changing decisions.

Satan doesn’t tempt us with things that don’t look good. He brings something around, wanting to destroy us, that looks just like what we have been praying for. We often forget that we are in a battle for our souls, and don’t even consult God prior to making important decisions. Satan can make things look good for us that are not in our best interest.

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

The most important thing in the world, for the Christian, should be our relationship with God. When we spend a lot of time with Him each day, in prayer and the Word, we become more keenly aware of anything that comes our way that isn’t of Him.

I often say that our relationship with the Lord is like any other relationship. The more time we spend with someone the more we get to know his or her personality. We know what they like, and what they don’t like.  That’s why our personal time spent with God each day is so important. We begin to know what He is like, and when something or someone comes along that is not like Him; we will have much better discernment.

Satan’s tactics have not changed one bit. In the Garden of Eden he starts to mess with Eve’s mind. She listens to him, and thinks, “I guess he is right, God won’t care if I eat that apple.” Confusion sets in, and sin follows. Spending time searching the scriptures for answers tell us what God likes and what He doesn’t. If we can keep our minds full of God’s Word we will have better defense against being tricked into things by Satan.

The past is over, and we all blew it in one way or another in the past. We need to forget bad decisions, and get over it. We can’t change the past. The future can be better when we learn what God wants and stay in obedience to His rules, whether we like them or not.

Obedience brings true blessings! Beloved, today if you need to make a decision DO NOT do anything out of desperation. God has your answers, and He is more then willing to supply our needs when we ask Him!

Wait on the LORD!

Father, Help us to make Godly decisions today, and everyday. Give us wisdom, discernment and clear heads when making life long decisions. Thank you for being near to us 24/7. When we call, You answer us and send angels before us to prepare our way! In Your Name, the Name above all names we pray. Amen and Amen

May God be with you today, May He guide you and keep you safe from the wiles of the devil!

A California Earthquake?

Today while I was praying for my oldest son, who is away from God, and me, I was reminded of something. Was it a warning? Perhaps, we will have to pray about it.

In 1971 we were living in California in the San Fernando Valley, Granada Hills CA to be exact. My son’s birthday was February 8th. For some reason everyone in both of our families forgot his birthday. I was upset about it, and it was before I was saved. Meaning I was more upset about it then I should have been. I was pregnant with my second son and hormonal anyway. I cried most of the day about everyone forgetting Chris’s BD.

The next morning, early on February 9th, 1971, I was awoken by a huge boom! At first I thought a drunk had run into one of the cement pillars under our apartment. It happened frequently as we lived above the parking structure. But as I was contemplating that the earth started to shake violently and I realized we were having a very bad earthquake. We were evacuated shortly thereafter as a dam was damaged and getting ready to burst. We were in the direct path of the gushing water.

I was so scared and I remember thinking to myself, “I can’t believe I was so upset yesterday over nothing because now we are in a life threatening situation. As we say, “ In the blink of an eye everything can change.”

I believe that has been 48 years. They are way overdue for something big in that area. We need to pray about that.

Also, if someone reading this is really upset over something you are going through right this minute, let it go. We never know when things could be a whole lot worse!

Amen?

Crucification Of Your Soul

The day before yesterday I was talking to someone who had been through living hell. Trusting someone who claimed to be a Christian and then destroyed *** trust. There was a lot more to it, and this person was a mature Christian with a lot of discernment.

I have said it before and I am going to say it again, these end time demonic spirits occupying empty shells are strong but greater is God who is in us then Satan who is in the world.

Being restored to God after a hard situation often leaves us broken and wondering why God allowed it in the first place if he loves us.

But, beloved of the Lord, Jesus understood that he would go through a whole lot of pain. Even though he knew that, at the end of his earthly walk, he said to the Father, “Father if possible let me escape this, HOWEVER, not My will but thy will be done.”

At the end of His horrible painful death he rose again to life! The ending was worth the pain!

You who have been through soul crucification need to know that the purpose for this was so you would come out of this with more wisdom and more understanding so that you could love and show compassion to others experiencing horrible betrayal and rejection too.

The Father trusted that the son was strong enough for His mission and likewise the Father knew you were strong enough to not only survive but, in the end, thrive through your horrible experiences.

Throw off the clothes of grief and go forward to help others who have suffered what you went through. God will restore you and replace, doubly, all you lost!

The Right Solution Will Give You Peace

trees in park

Discernment is a gift that everyone has access to. Many don’t experience the peace that comes from following God-given discernment because they don’t use it on a regular basis.

I believe the more we follow the discernment that God gives us the more discernment God will give us. When we get a feeling about something and then ignore it we often end up regretting it.

For me when I am doing the right thing I experience a great deal of peace.

Tuesday and Wednesday of this week I began to get concerned. My iPad, which is about four years old or so, stopped charging. Now, my iPad has my whole life on it. I have notes from counseling sessions with clients, passwords, all my credit card companies so that I can check my accounts and pay online, my bank account, my book manuscripts, my blog manuscripts, my pharmacy information, my doctor’s office records, you name it.

Frankly, I have had trouble with my iPad not charging before, but usually by buying a new cable the problem is resolved. I have a iPhone but the screen is hard for me to read. With my older eyes I need something larger.

So, what to do? I would ideally like a new iPad but I cannot afford to buy one at this time. So, I went to the Apple store online and found an iPad I liked. I saw there that I might be able to buy one with payments. I checked into it and the payments were too high. I discussed it with my husband and he said, “You have to have one. Consider it a ministry tool that you MUST have and go ahead and put it on credit. God knows you need one and he will supply the money for the payments.”

So, that made sense and I started to try and buy one online. I begin to feel terribly anxious. I knew that I was not in God’s will to make payments. I had no peace about it and every time I started to put my information in to qualify I felt anxious again. Even though it made sense that I needed one, I knew that that payment was not what God wanted me to do.

What is right gives you a sense of peace. When you are going against your God given discernment you will just not feel right about your decision. If you go ahead anyway it usually ends up bad.

What ever gives you a sense of struggle and strife is false. Whether it’s a relationship, a major purchase, a job, or a person, if you don’t have peace do not do it.

I then went into prayer. I said, “God buying a new iPad is not in my budget right now, and I would have to finance it. I don’t feel right about it. What do you want me to do? I could buy a cheap tablet but it would be a hassle to move all my things over with anything but iPad, which would automatically transfer to a new one.”
I prayed and then I made a decision to step away from it for a while. I started cleaning my stove. I figured that would take a lot of time and take my mind away from the problem. Believe it or not it seemed to clear my head.

I sat down to relax after my cleaning job and immediately something came into my mind. I remembered last week my husband said he thought we had suffered a power surge. Could that have fried the cord I was using? Maybe that was it. I tried several cables in that same outlet to charge it and nothing worked. I tried different outlets, near by, with the same cables and they would charge but really slowly. I remembered that I had bought a couple of new cables awhile back. I also knew, through the help of God, that I should try using the USB in a newer surge protector that I had. This whole thought process was absent when I was stressing over it. Now it seemed obvious.

So, I did that and it worked. I am now having to use the new cable in that surge protector each time I charge the iPad but it WORKS. Praise the Lord.

MY PEACE WAS RESTORED.

I urge you to develop your God given discernment by only moving forward into something when you experience peace.

One other thing I advise is giving the problem a break. Do something else that takes your mind off of the problem. Walk away from it. Stress causes confusion. Just stepping away for a while will often clear your head to where God can give you a divine solution!
