Breaking! A Word From God Concerning Warfare

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabits the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3)

Beloved today I am impressed to share the above scripture with you. As I sought the Lord today I began to sense a lot of confusion in the Spirit.

I sense that a lot of God’s people are confused about where to go, what to do and it’s causing your faith to be tested more severely then it has ever been tested. I sense that some Christians are at a point they feel ready to give up. Some of you have felt like no matter how true you are to the Lord and no matter how often you fast and pray nothing is changing.

God began to speak to me that the cause of such severe confusion is a hoarde of interfering demonic spirits unleashed to create so much confusion and deception that His people feel defeated.

It is not Gods will for His people to be defeated. Beloved the Lord says in the Word that he has come that we may have peace and abundance. He wants us to have enough provision that we can not only pay our bills but help others to pay theirs also. It’s not God’s will that we go around downcast without our needs met.

The scripture above tells us that God inhabits( lives within) the praises of His people. So when we start praising God in the middle of bad circumstances he dwells among us, He stands right by our side. No devil in hell is allowed to cross the blood line that Christ puts around His people.

When an army goes into battle if at first they don’t succeed what do they do? They bring in better, more powerful weapons. So seeing that these confusing spirits are trying to keep our blessings from us in these last days we are going to have to bring in more weapons. I urge you to lift your arms and walk around your home and start praising God. When you get in your car start praising God, when you go in the shower start praising Him! If, and hopefully you do, you pray in tongues then this is the time to praise Him in tongues too!

God is going to bring breakthroughs that will shock and surprise your enemies, both in this world and the spirit world! Bring God into covenant agreement with you by praising Him in the middle of your situation!

Please let me know when your breakthroughs come so that I can share them with others for their encouragement!

The Heartbreak Of Family Estrangement

EF32001F-AB79-4A0B-BCCF-E44EE1B42D24

Some of you will understand this, others will not, but I am going to say it anyway.

I was thinking today about the wonderful, fun get-togethers my family once had. Simple fun, laughter and good food. Then certain people marry into a family and they seem to be jealous of that closeness and they set out to spread lies and tear a family apart.

When we marry into families we need to NOT be jealous of our spouses other family members. It’s ridiculous to act like that. One day you will look back on that and realize how much time you wasted like that. Time you can never get back.

Jealousy and fighting are straight from the pits of hell. Do not be jealous of the relationship your spouse has with their parents or brothers and sisters. They are not going to leave you because of those relationships. Your spouse will love you much more for loving their family. On the other hand when you divide your spouse from their family they will hold resentment against you. They may not say anything but they will resent you for coming against those they love and expecting them to choose between you or them.

I know sometimes things are said and done by family members that we don’t like. We have to let those things slide off our backs. Surely God has given us enough Grace that we can overlook these things for a few days of a visit once a year. It’s called respect.

Spend time together, forget your grudges!

He Will Calm Your Storm

296AFE55-38B6-4931-AB90-F7BC68EE9EA0

In peace I will lay down and sleep, for you alone God make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Growing up, as a small child, we lived in the panhandle of Texas. Back then the wind would

pick up in the Summer, the clouds would move in, dark and ominous, and we knew rain was coming. Sometimes that rain would bring a tornado or two with it. I remember trying to sleep at night but being afraid to because of a tornado warning. I trusted my parents when they told me to go to sleep because if we had to get to shelter they would wake me up.

Storms come to everyone’s life. A whole lot of times they are not weather storms but storms of problems.

Life doesn’t always go perfectly for a whole lot of us who live paycheck to paycheck. We have unexpected expenses arise, and one thing like that can really throw our budgets out of whack

and we often don’t know how we are going to make it.

Then there are the emotional storms that come up, maybe it’s illness, death of a loved one, our partner leaves or has a drug or alcohol problem, we lose our jobs. It can be anything, I know because I too have storms.

The thing is that Jesus calms storms. We simply have to release them. We hold on to them thinking that unless we can figure out, with our little finite minds, what do to we are doomed. We think it’s all up to us to find a solution.

We have forgotten that we serve the God who parted the Red Sea. The God that created miracles then, is still in the miracle working business.

I have had miracles that would blow your mind. I have had times when I lost everything and yet God replaced it and more. I have had Godly people give me just enough money to keep me going because God told them too. Miracles still happen. I can honestly testify to that.

I know right now you are afraid you won’t make it either. I am going to ask you to close your eyes. See all of your problems in a basket. Now hand that basket to God. Thank Him for taking your problems, your worries and have faith that he will handle them now. He’s on the scene. Your miracle is at hand! Keep your eyes on Jesus! Not the storm! Rest knowing if he needs you he’ll call you!

Coffee With Cathie 5/4/2018

What a beautiful sunny morning we woke up to!

Lately God has been sending very mature Christian friends my way online. I am thrilled about that and praise God for them. In prayer this morning I asked God about it. His answer seemed to be that as demonic activity increases we will be needing to stick together in greater ways then ever! We need to continue to back each other up in prayer as those on the front lines are being buffeted by demonic activity more then we ever have been.

There seems to be no basic manners anymore. There is no restraint. People say what ever comes into their minds and then act surprised when others are upset with them. In most things God has told me to watch my mouth and stay silent. It isn’t worth engaging with these people. We have read the book and know who wins in the end.

John 15:19

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

John 18:36

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

Enjoy your coffee today with the calm assurance that He is still on the throne and His will WILL be done!

PS. God has shown me that things will be revealed this month. People that have been hiding bad motives will be exposed and the truth will come out. Be prepared to be shocked!

Finances are turning around. God is promoting people into greater areas of responsibility. Those who have been sitting in the shadows will now be seen by many in a greater arena of influence.

Jesus Can Set You Free And Keep You Free

372F667E-A65C-4C07-811A-57FBE99A9AA2

Sometimes we have to let people go for their own good. We cannot carry people, through prayer, forever. At a certain point in our walk with God we have to quit eating baby food and start eating solid food. At a certain point we have to grow enough to step out and use what we have learned to help grow others in Christ. We cannot help others until we get free from things that hold us back. Why? Because people see that as hypocrisy. They then turn away from God and some never come back! I did that for years before I was completely set free from things ruining my testimony.

If there is no growth it’s because we are sitting around singing the blues, full of self pity,  instead of trusting God to show us how to live joyful in good times and bad. It takes work that no other human being can do for us.

Remember when Jesus said to the man at the pool of Bethesda, “Get up, take up your mat and walk.” The man had complained to Jesus that he had no one to help him to the pool for healing. Jesus healed him, but then put the responsibility right back on him.

It’s wonderful when Christians pray for us! It builds our faith when God answers their prayers for us.

It takes us making a decision to follow God,no matter how we are feeling, to stay healed.

God healed me of depression several years ago. But that doesn’t mean depression doesn’t try to come back on me, because it does. I have been taught by God that I cannot give in to depression. You know some of my life, but I am pretty sure you don’t know all. Believe me when I tell you that I have a lot of reasons to stay depressed. The only way to be joyful, is for me to choose joy. If I start to think about my life and feel sorry for myself I can go down into depression really quickly.

God has taught me that when I feel the first little bit of self pity I simply STOP and put my mind on God. I praise Him for anything I can think of. I read the Word, I read the encouragement others put online, I put on worship music and raise my hands and worship.

It’s not always easy. But it works. You may not be battling depression you may be battling drugs, alcohol, anger, pornography. Whatever it is, you can get it off your mind and out of your life the same way!

We cannot spend the next five or ten years taking one step forward and two steps back and then expecting our friends to do the work that  we  need to do to stay free!

Someone, right now Jesus is saying “It’s time to get free and never go backwards! As you make an effort to take responsibility and stay free, I will meet you right where you are and keep you free!”

God loves you! He really does! You have work to do in the Kingdom! Take up your mat and WALK!

When God Has Us In A Holding Pattern

Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7

It appears that God has me in a holding pattern. It’s as if I am on a plane, willing and able to get onto my next destination and God has come on the overhead speaker saying, “We are experiencing some unexpected difficulties and we cannot take off at this time. It is nothing to worry about, I will keep you posted.”

It actually started last month, shortly after publishing my Kindle Books the Lord spoke to my heart the following, “Stop and pray before ministering in any way. Don’t do anything without praying to see if it is in my will.”

I am at an age where it might make sense to retire but that is not who I am and God knows it. I love being about the Lords work. It actually energizes me. That’s how you know you are on your right path with God. When you love what you do so much that it doesn’t feel like work, you have found your ministry.

God has me in this holding pattern. I am anxious to get on with it but God’s not having it for some reason.

I know this about holding patterns, because I have experienced them before, if I try and go forward on my own, before God releases me, anything I do on my own will fail.

In trying to understand these holding patterns I have learned there are many examples of them in the Bible. You too might be there. You feel as if you are between a rock and a hard place.

In Exodus 14 we read that the Israelites were in between a rock and a hard place. Pharaoh had changed his mind about letting them go free. They had gone as far as they could go. The Red Sea was in front of them and Pharaoh was in back of them. They couldn’t go back nor could they go forward. It was then that God told them to “Be still and see the salvation of the Lord.”

God, when the time was right created the huge miracle of parting the Red Sea so that the Israelites could go to the Promised Land. At the same time He closed the Red Sea to The Egyptians who Pharaoh had sent to bring them back into bondage.

The key is that when the time was EXACTLY right God delivered them. God will do the same for me and you.

It’s in these holding patterns that we learn to trust God. We grow and mature in the Lord so when we finally do take off we are equipped with the things we need inside of us to be of use in the next stage of life.

Have we got the “right stuff” to hang in and wait on God or will we rush ahead more then likely unprepared for what lies ahead?
