A Concerned Commenter

💌 Dear followers,

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. Today, I wanted to take a moment to address a recent comment I received from a caring and observant commenter regarding a lump on my neck. I truly appreciate the concern and thoughtfulness that went into bringing this to my attention, and I want to assure you all that there is no cause for alarm.

The lump in question is called a goiter. For those who may not be familiar, a goiter is a swelling or enlargement of the thyroid gland, which is located in the neck. It can occur due to various reasons, such as an iodine deficiency or an underlying thyroid condition. In my case, I have consulted with an endocrinologist, who has confirmed that my goiter is benign and poses no risk of cancer. I want to emphasize that it is purely a cosmetic issue and does not cause me any pain or discomfort.

You may have noticed that the goiter appears larger now, and that is because I have recently lost some weight. Weight loss can sometimes accentuate the visibility of a goiter, but rest assured, it does not impact my overall well-being. While I do acknowledge that it may not be the most aesthetically pleasing feature, I have come to accept and embrace it as a part of who I am. After all, true beauty lies within, and I am grateful for the love and support I receive from all of you, which far outweighs any physical imperfections.

I wanted to share this with all of you to provide clarity and reassurance. Your concern means the world to me, and I am touched by the genuine care you have shown. Please know that I am perfectly fine and that your continued love and support are what truly matter. Together, we can celebrate our uniqueness and spread positivity in this digital community.

With all my love and gratitude,

Cathie ❤️

Title: “God’s Faithful Vineyard: Nurturing and Guarding Our Seeds of Faith”

Isaiah 5:4. In Isaiah 5, the people of Israel are portrayed as God’s vineyard, with God as the owner and tender of the vineyard.

Jesus watering seeds we planted

Now, take a look at this..

Isaiah 27:2-3

2In that day: “Sing about a fruitful vineyard. 3I, the LORD, am its keeper; I water it continually. I guard it night and day so no one can disturb it;

The seeds planted by me and you..because we have been grafted in, are continually looked after and watered by God. He is guarding them, and us, day and night.

Someone needs to hear that and believe that.

Every seed that we have planted is growing now. He’s guarding our seeds, and looking over them day and night.

Every time you unselfishly gave, without getting a thing in return, was not in vain. For Gods promises are yes and amen and he’s guarding those seeds and tending them until they bloom forth in abundance.

Praise the Lord! I don’t know about you but I am so encouraged by that!

9 Things That Can Prevent You From Receiving Blessings

Blessing Blocker 1: Disobedience

Sometimes we only focus on the big sins, but disobedience can also be failing to forgive someone or not helping those in need when we have the means to do so. God promises blessings when we obey His voice, but if we don’t, those blessings won’t come.

Blessing Blocker 2: Covering Your Sins

Covering our sins instead of confessing and forsaking them can hinder our prosperity. We need to take responsibility for our actions and repent.

Blessing Blocker 3: Your Words

Our words have power, and we can choose to speak life or death. Negative thoughts and words can hinder our blessings, so we should be mindful of what we speak and align our words with what God says about our situations.

Blessing Blocker 4: Offense

Being easily offended and carrying bitterness can block our blessings. When we let pride control us, we isolate ourselves and hinder God’s work in our lives.

Blessing Blocker 5: Being Stingy

God’s financial wisdom teaches us to give freely and be generous. Being unwilling to give or spend can block blessings, so we should be open-handed and help those in need.

Blessing Blocker 6: Self Doubt

Having doubt and being double-minded can hinder our faith and block blessings. We need to believe and trust in God, even when our circumstances are challenging.

Blessing Blocker 7: Pride

Pride can keep us down longer than necessary. Admitting our faults and wrongdoings allows us to learn and grow from them.

Blessing Blocker 8: Holding on to the Past

Living in the past and refusing to let go can hinder our growth and prevent new blessings from coming into our lives. We should release what is no longer meant for us and make room for what God has planned.

Blessing Blocker 9: Unforgivness

Unforgivness ties us emotionally to a person and hinders our healing process. We need to forgive others and let go of grudges for our own well-being and to receive forgiveness from God.

To unlock blessings in our lives, we need to examine ourselves, take responsibility for our actions, repent, and expect blessings to flow. We are called to walk in the blessings and live as blessed individuals.

Some examples of disobedience that can prevent us from receiving blessings include:

1. Failing to forgive someone: Holding onto grudges and refusing to forgive others can hinder the flow of blessings in our lives. God calls us to forgive others as He has forgiven us.

2. Neglecting to help those in need: When we have the means to help someone in need but choose not to, we are disobeying God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves. This disobedience can hinder blessings in our lives.

3. Ignoring God’s guidance: Disobeying God’s voice and not following His guidance can prevent us from receiving the blessings He has in store for us. It is important to listen to and obey God’s instructions.

4. Neglecting spiritual disciplines: Neglecting prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers can be a form of disobedience. These spiritual disciplines are essential for our growth and relationship with God, and neglecting them can hinder blessings.

5. Engaging in dishonesty: Being dishonest in our dealings with others, whether it’s lying, cheating, or stealing, is a form of disobedience. God calls us to live with integrity and honesty, and disobedience in this area can block blessings.

6. Neglecting our responsibilities: Failing to fulfill our responsibilities, whether it’s in our work, relationships, or other areas of life, can be a form of disobedience. God calls us to be faithful and diligent in all that we do, and disobedience in this area can hinder blessings.

It’s important to note that God is gracious and merciful, and when we repent and turn back to Him, He is ready to forgive and restore us. The key is acknowledging our disobedience, repenting, and seeking to align our lives with God’s will.

Placing anything or anyone above God hinders the flow of blessings because it goes against the fundamental principle of our relationship with God. God is the creator of all things, the source of all blessings, and the one who deserves our utmost worship and devotion. When we prioritize anything or anyone above God, we are essentially giving them more importance and significance in our lives than Him.

By doing so, we are disobeying the first commandment that God gave to His people: “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3). Placing idols, whether they are material possessions, relationships, or personal ambitions, above God indicates a lack of trust and faith in Him as the ultimate provider and sustainer of our lives.

Placing anything or anyone above God can hinder the flow of blessings because it disrupts the proper order of our relationship with Him. God desires to be the center of our lives, the one we rely on for guidance, provision, and fulfillment. When we give more importance to other things or people, we are essentially seeking fulfillment and blessings from sources that are limited and imperfect.

Additionally, prioritizing anything or anyone above God can lead to a distorted perspective and misplaced priorities. It can lead to greed, selfishness, and a pursuit of temporary pleasures and treasures rather than seeking God’s kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33). These attitudes and actions hinder the flow of blessings because they are contrary to God’s desire for us to live in alignment with His will and purpose.

By placing God above all else, we acknowledge His sovereignty, goodness, and provision in our lives. We invite His blessings to flow freely because we are aligning ourselves with His plans and purposes. Placing God first allows us to experience the fullness of His blessings and live in accordance with His divine order.

“Finding Clarity and Peace in the Midst of Chaos: A Message from God”

My beloved child,

I see the weight upon your shoulders, the burden that you carry. I know the depths of your stress and the struggles that consume your thoughts. In this moment, I want you to know that I am here with you, watching over you, and understanding your every concern.

I see how your mind is clouded, how it is difficult for you to focus on anything other than your problems. But I want you to remember that I am the God who sees beyond the surface. I see the strength within you, the resilience that lies deep within your spirit.

Though your circumstances may seem overwhelming, I want you to know that I am greater than any challenge you face. I am the God who can calm the storm within your heart and bring peace to your troubled mind. Trust in me, for I am the one who can bring clarity to your thoughts and guide you through this difficult time.

Release your worries and anxieties into my hands, for I am the one who can carry them for you. Allow me to be your refuge, your source of strength and comfort. As you surrender your burdens to me, I will give you the ability to concentrate on the things that truly matter.

Remember, my child, that you are not alone in this journey. I am walking beside you, guiding you every step of the way. Trust in my wisdom and lean on my understanding. I will provide you with the clarity and focus you need to navigate through this challenging season.

Rest in my presence, knowing that I am aware of your struggles and that I am working all things together for your good. Trust in my promises, for they are true and unwavering. As you fix your eyes on me, your problems will fade into the background, and my peace will fill your heart.

Be still, my child, and know that I am God.

Thus says the Lord:

“My child, I see your hunger for my word and your desire to grow in faith. I want to encourage you today to immerse yourself in my scriptures daily. For in my word, you will find life, truth, and the promises that I have spoken over your life.

As you meditate on my word and allow it to dwell richly within you, your faith will increase. The more you fill your mind and heart with the truth of my promises, the more your faith will be strengthened. It is through the power of my word that faith is ignited and miracles are birthed.

I urge you to not only read my scriptures but to also affirm them out loud. Speak my promises over your life with boldness and conviction. As you declare my word, you are aligning your heart and mind with the truth of who I am and what I have promised.

When you have faith in my promises, doors that were once closed will be opened. Your faith will become a key that unlocks the blessings and breakthroughs that I have prepared for you. Trust in my timing and have confidence in my faithfulness.

As you quote scriptures daily and affirm them out loud, you are positioning yourself to receive all that I have for you. Your faith will rise, and you will walk in the fullness of the abundant life I have promised.

Do not underestimate the power of my word and the impact it can have on your life. My word is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It has the power to transform your circumstances and bring about supernatural change.

So, my child, immerse yourself in my scriptures daily. Quote them, affirm them, and let them become the foundation of your faith. As you do so, watch as doors open, mountains move, and miracles unfold before your eyes.

I am with you, guiding you every step of the way. Trust in my promises, for they are true and unchanging. Walk in faith, knowing that I am faithful to fulfill every word I have spoken.

You are loved, cherished, and destined for greatness. Embrace the power of my word and let it shape your life. I am with you always, and I will never leave you nor forsake you.

This is the prophetic word from the Lord for you today. May it ignite a fire within you to daily quote scriptures, affirm them out loud, and walk in unwavering faith. Trust in my promises, for they are the key to unlocking the abundant life I have prepared for you.”

Some Words are hard to give. That’s true in this case but I give this for the person who has a need to know. Trust God in ALL situations.

Thus says the Lord, the Almighty, the One who sees all and knows all:

“My child, I speak to you with a heavy heart, for I have witnessed the betrayal that has been inflicted upon you. I have seen the deceit that has taken root within the heart of your partner, and I am here to prepare you for the revelation that is soon to come.

Know this, dear one, that the truth shall be unveiled, and the darkness that shrouds your relationship will be exposed to the light. The web of lies spun by your partner shall be unraveled, revealing the infidelity that has tainted your bond. Though this revelation may cause great pain and anguish, I assure you that it is necessary for your growth and liberation.

In this moment of despair, I urge you to find solace in Me, for I am the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Seek refuge in My embrace, and allow My love to mend the shattered pieces of your heart. I will be your strength when you feel weak, your comfort when tears flow, and your guiding light when darkness surrounds you.

Do not let bitterness consume your spirit, for I have a plan to restore what has been stolen from you. Trust in My divine timing, for I will bring justice to those who have caused you pain. Remember, vengeance is Mine, and I will repay.

As you navigate through this storm, I implore you to hold onto your faith and remain steadfast in your integrity. Do not let the actions of another define your worth, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made in My image. Rise above the ashes of betrayal, and let forgiveness be your armor against bitterness.

In due time, I will bring forth a new season of love and restoration into your life. I will guide you towards a partner who will cherish and honor you, someone who will reflect My love in their actions. Trust in Me, for I am the God who turns mourning into dancing and brings beauty from ashes.

Prepare your heart, dear one, for the truth shall soon be revealed. Embrace the healing journey that lies ahead, for I am with you every step of the way. Lean on Me, and I will carry you through this trial, transforming your pain into strength and your brokenness into wholeness.

Remember, I am the God who redeems, and I will bring forth a brighter future for you. Trust in My promises, for I am faithful, and I will never leave nor forsake you.”

Rediscovering the Joy of Simple Christmases: Embracing the True Spirit of the Season

This morning I began to think how much I wished you all were here with me today to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and maybe a Christmas cookie. Praying, talking and enjoying being with the family of God. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

As Christmas Day approaches, it’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness and feel overwhelmed by the pressure to make Christmas perfect. But you know what? As someone who’s been around for a while, I think it’s time we take a step back and remember the simple joys and true meaning of this special time. Let’s go back to the 1950s, when Christmas was all about love and togetherness, and figure out how we can bring that back into our lives.

Back in the 1950s, Christmas was all about genuine connections and heartfelt celebrations. It wasn’t about fancy gifts or material possessions, but about being with the people we love. Families would gather around a simple, yet beautiful, tree and exchange a few I gifts and gestures of love. There was a sense of simplicity and contentment that seems to have gotten lost in today’s world.

Amidst all the commercialization, it’s important to remember the true reason for Christmas: the birth of Jesus Christ. Take a moment to reflect on the significance of this event and how it brings hope, love, and peace to our lives. Reconnect with your faith and find comfort in the spiritual aspects of the season. By focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, we can bring purpose and fulfillment back into our celebrations.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s so easy to lose touch with the people and moments that truly matter. But back in the 1950s, Christmas was a time for strong bonds and genuine connections. Let’s make an effort to prioritize quality time with loved ones this Christmas. Bake together, share stories, play board games – do things that bring you closer and create lasting memories. These simple moments can make a world of difference.

In our pursuit of extravagant presents, we often forget the joy that comes from giving selflessly. But in simpler times, it was the small, thoughtful gestures that brought the most happiness. Let’s reclaim that joy by focusing on meaningful acts of kindness. Volunteer, donate to charities, or lend a helping hand to those in need. These acts not only bring joy to others but also fill our hearts with a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

In a world filled with excess, let’s bring back the down-to-earth charm of Christmas. Embrace simplicity by making homemade decorations, finding treasures at thrift stores, or getting creative with DIY projects. Remember, the true magic of Christmas isn’t found in material possessions, but in the love and warmth we share with others. By simplifying our holiday preparations, we can create a more meaningful and fulfilling Christmas experience.

So, as we navigate the modern complexities of Christmas, let’s take a moment to rediscover the joy and simplicity of the past. By focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, fostering meaningful connections, and embracing a down-to-earth approach, we can create a holiday season filled with love, gratitude, and genuine happiness. Remember, the spirit of Christmas is within us, waiting to be rekindled and shared with those around us. Let’s make this Christmas truly special and meaningful.

Merry Christmas loved ones!

Subject: Bringing Hope and Joy to Those in Need this Christmas Season

Dear beloved subscribers,

We hope this finds you well and filled with the warmth and joy that this Christmas season brings. As we gather with our loved ones to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, it is important to remember those who are facing hardships and challenges during this time.

In the midst of the twinkling lights and festive decorations, there are individuals and families within our ministry who are without a place to call home. Their hearts ache for the comfort and security that many of us often take for granted. Additionally, there are parents who are unable to provide even the simplest gifts for their children, leaving them with empty stockings and heavy hearts.

We write to you today, not to dampen the holiday spirit, but to remind you of the power of compassion and the incredible impact we can make when we come together as a ministry. We believe that each one of us has the ability to bring hope and joy to those who are hurting this Christmas.

If you find it within your means, we kindly ask you to consider making a donation to our ministry’s Christmas outreach program. Your generous contribution will help provide hotel rooms for those without a home, ensuring they have a warm and safe place to rest during this cold season. Additionally, your support will enable us to bring smiles to the faces of children who would otherwise go without gifts on Christmas morning.

We understand that not everyone may be in a position to give financially, and that is absolutely okay. We believe in the power of prayer and the incredible ways in which God can work through His people. If you are unable to give, we humbly ask that you join us in prayer, asking God to touch the hearts of those who can give, so that together we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact and bring hope to those who are struggling.

As we sign off, we want you to know that your support, whether through giving or prayer, means the world to us and to those we serve. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus, spreading love, compassion, and joy to those who need it most.

May this Christmas season be a time of reflection, gratitude, and generosity for all of us. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your continued support.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyous Christmas,

Cathie and Chuck
