Rediscovering the Joy of Simple Christmases: Embracing the True Spirit of the Season

This morning I began to think how much I wished you all were here with me today to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and maybe a Christmas cookie. Praying, talking and enjoying being with the family of God. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

As Christmas Day approaches, it’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness and feel overwhelmed by the pressure to make Christmas perfect. But you know what? As someone who’s been around for a while, I think it’s time we take a step back and remember the simple joys and true meaning of this special time. Let’s go back to the 1950s, when Christmas was all about love and togetherness, and figure out how we can bring that back into our lives.

Back in the 1950s, Christmas was all about genuine connections and heartfelt celebrations. It wasn’t about fancy gifts or material possessions, but about being with the people we love. Families would gather around a simple, yet beautiful, tree and exchange a few I gifts and gestures of love. There was a sense of simplicity and contentment that seems to have gotten lost in today’s world.

Amidst all the commercialization, it’s important to remember the true reason for Christmas: the birth of Jesus Christ. Take a moment to reflect on the significance of this event and how it brings hope, love, and peace to our lives. Reconnect with your faith and find comfort in the spiritual aspects of the season. By focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, we can bring purpose and fulfillment back into our celebrations.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s so easy to lose touch with the people and moments that truly matter. But back in the 1950s, Christmas was a time for strong bonds and genuine connections. Let’s make an effort to prioritize quality time with loved ones this Christmas. Bake together, share stories, play board games – do things that bring you closer and create lasting memories. These simple moments can make a world of difference.

In our pursuit of extravagant presents, we often forget the joy that comes from giving selflessly. But in simpler times, it was the small, thoughtful gestures that brought the most happiness. Let’s reclaim that joy by focusing on meaningful acts of kindness. Volunteer, donate to charities, or lend a helping hand to those in need. These acts not only bring joy to others but also fill our hearts with a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

In a world filled with excess, let’s bring back the down-to-earth charm of Christmas. Embrace simplicity by making homemade decorations, finding treasures at thrift stores, or getting creative with DIY projects. Remember, the true magic of Christmas isn’t found in material possessions, but in the love and warmth we share with others. By simplifying our holiday preparations, we can create a more meaningful and fulfilling Christmas experience.

So, as we navigate the modern complexities of Christmas, let’s take a moment to rediscover the joy and simplicity of the past. By focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, fostering meaningful connections, and embracing a down-to-earth approach, we can create a holiday season filled with love, gratitude, and genuine happiness. Remember, the spirit of Christmas is within us, waiting to be rekindled and shared with those around us. Let’s make this Christmas truly special and meaningful.

Merry Christmas loved ones!

Subject: Bringing Hope and Joy to Those in Need this Christmas Season

Dear beloved subscribers,

We hope this finds you well and filled with the warmth and joy that this Christmas season brings. As we gather with our loved ones to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, it is important to remember those who are facing hardships and challenges during this time.

In the midst of the twinkling lights and festive decorations, there are individuals and families within our ministry who are without a place to call home. Their hearts ache for the comfort and security that many of us often take for granted. Additionally, there are parents who are unable to provide even the simplest gifts for their children, leaving them with empty stockings and heavy hearts.

We write to you today, not to dampen the holiday spirit, but to remind you of the power of compassion and the incredible impact we can make when we come together as a ministry. We believe that each one of us has the ability to bring hope and joy to those who are hurting this Christmas.

If you find it within your means, we kindly ask you to consider making a donation to our ministry’s Christmas outreach program. Your generous contribution will help provide hotel rooms for those without a home, ensuring they have a warm and safe place to rest during this cold season. Additionally, your support will enable us to bring smiles to the faces of children who would otherwise go without gifts on Christmas morning.

We understand that not everyone may be in a position to give financially, and that is absolutely okay. We believe in the power of prayer and the incredible ways in which God can work through His people. If you are unable to give, we humbly ask that you join us in prayer, asking God to touch the hearts of those who can give, so that together we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact and bring hope to those who are struggling.

As we sign off, we want you to know that your support, whether through giving or prayer, means the world to us and to those we serve. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus, spreading love, compassion, and joy to those who need it most.

May this Christmas season be a time of reflection, gratitude, and generosity for all of us. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your continued support.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyous Christmas,

Cathie and Chuck

“From Desperation to Deliverance: A Prophetic Word of Hope and Restoration”

My child, hear these words from the depths of My heart, for I am with you in your desperation. Though you may feel overwhelmed by the weight of your circumstances, I want you to know that I am here, holding you close in the palm of My hand.

In this moment of despair, I see the tears that stain your face and the heaviness that burdens your soul. But I want you to remember that I am the God of miracles, the One who brings forth beauty from ashes and light from darkness. I am the God who turns the impossible into the possible.

Do not lose hope, for I am working behind the scenes, orchestrating a divine plan that surpasses your understanding. Even when it seems like all doors are closed, I am preparing a way for you. Trust in Me, for I am the God who makes a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert.

Though the storm rages around you, I am your anchor, your refuge, and your strength. I will never leave your side, even in the darkest of nights. I am the light that guides your path, illuminating the way before you. Lean on Me, and I will carry you through this season of desperation.

Know that your desperation is not in vain, for I am using it to refine you, to strengthen your faith, and to draw you closer to Me. In the midst of your pain, I am molding you into a vessel of resilience and compassion. Your story will become a testament to My faithfulness and the power of My love.

So, my beloved child, hold on to hope, for I am the God who turns mourning into dancing and sorrow into joy. Your desperation will be a stepping stone towards the fulfillment of My purpose in your life. Trust in Me, for I am with you always, and I will never forsake you.

Take heart, for the dawn is breaking, and a new day is dawning. Your desperation will give way to deliverance, and your tears will be replaced with tears of joy. Embrace the hope that I offer, for I am the God who brings forth miracles, and I am working all things together for your good.

Rest in My love, and let My peace wash over you. You are not alone, for I am here, and I will carry you through this season of desperation. Trust in Me, and watch as I turn your desperation into a testimony of My faithfulness.

From Delayed Dreams to Divine Breakthrough: Trusting in God’s Perfect Timing”

My beloved children,

I speak to you with a voice of love and assurance, for I am your God, and I am with you always. Do not be discouraged or disheartened, for I am still in the business of performing miracles and bringing forth life from what seems dead.

Just as I raised the little girl from her slumber, so too will I awaken the dormant dreams and desires within your hearts. Though it may seem as if your miracles have been delayed or even lost, I assure you that they are not dead but merely sleeping.

In the midst of your waiting, do not lose hope. Do not allow doubt to overshadow your faith. For I am the God who breathes life into the lifeless, who speaks and the impossible becomes possible. Trust in my timing, for I am never late, but always right on time.

Just as the woman with the issue of blood reached out in faith and received her healing, so too can you reach out to me with unwavering belief. I see your struggles, your pain, and your longing for breakthrough. I am not indifferent to your cries, but I am working behind the scenes, orchestrating a divine plan that will bring forth your miracle.

Do not be swayed by the laughter of those who doubt, for their skepticism cannot hinder my power. I am the God who defies human understanding and surpasses all limitations. I am the God who turns mourning into dancing, who transforms despair into hope.

So, my dear ones, hold on to your faith. Keep your eyes fixed on me, the author and finisher of your faith. I am coming to give you your miracle, to awaken the dreams that have been dormant within you. Your breakthrough is not dead, but merely sleeping, awaiting the appointed time for its manifestation.

In the waiting, draw near to me. Seek my face and find solace in my presence. I will strengthen you, renew your hope, and fill you with a joy that surpasses all understanding. Trust in my promises, for they are yes and amen.

Remember, I am the God of resurrection power. I am the God who brings life to the lifeless. Your miracle is not dead, but sleeping, and I am coming to awaken it. Trust in me, for I am faithful and true.

With love and unwavering hope,

Your Heavenly Father

Luke 8:40-56:

“Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him. Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying. As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. ‘Who touched me?’ Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, ‘Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.’ But Jesus said, ‘Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.’ Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.’ While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. ‘Your daughter is dead,’ he said. ‘Don’t bother the teacher anymore.’ Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, ‘Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.’ When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John, and James, and the child’s father and mother. Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her. ‘Stop wailing,’ Jesus said. ‘She is not dead but asleep.’ They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said, ‘My child, get up!’ Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.”

These scriptures describe the account of Jesus raising a little girl from the dead after being delayed in reaching her.

Breaking Free from the Chains of SelfPity A Prophetic Call to Embrace Abundance

Thus says the Lord, the Almighty, the One who sees the depths of your heart and knows your every thought:

My beloved child, I speak to you today to warn you of the perilous path of self-pity. It is a treacherous snare that seeks to entangle your soul and hinder your journey towards the abundant life I have prepared for you. Hear my words and let them penetrate the depths of your being.

Self-pity is a deceptive force that distorts your perception of reality. It blinds you to the blessings that surround you and magnifies your own struggles, causing you to lose sight of the countless reasons for gratitude. It whispers lies into your ears, convincing you that you are alone, forgotten, and undeserving of love and joy.

But I tell you this: you are not alone. I am with you always, even in the darkest of times. I have not forsaken you, nor will I ever. Open your eyes and see the beauty that still exists within and around you. Lift your gaze from the depths of self-pity and fix it upon the light of my love that shines upon you ceaselessly.

To break free from the chains of self-pity, you must shift your focus from your own circumstances and turn your heart towards others. Engage in acts of kindness and compassion, for in doing so, you will discover the healing balm that soothes your own wounds. Seek out those who are hurting, and extend a hand of comfort and understanding. As you pour out love upon others, you will find that your own cup overflows.

Embrace gratitude as a weapon against self-pity. Count your blessings, no matter how small they may seem. Cultivate a heart of thankfulness, for in gratitude, you will find the strength to rise above your circumstances. Choose to see the silver linings amidst the storm clouds, and let hope be your guiding light.

Remember, my child, that self-pity is a thief of joy and a hindrance to your purpose. I have called you to a life of abundance, filled with my peace and joy. Do not allow self-pity to rob you of the blessings I have in store for you. Instead, surrender your burdens to me, for I am the one who can carry them. Trust in my unfailing love and allow me to guide you towards a life of freedom and fulfillment.

I am the God of all comfort, and I am here to lift you up from the depths of self-pity. Trust in my promises, for they are true and unchanging. Seek my presence, and I will renew your strength. Let go of self-pity, and embrace the abundant life I have prepared for you.

Words of Comfort and Strength Finding Hope in the Face of False Accusations

My child, hear these words from the depths of My heart, for they are meant to bring you comfort and strength in the face of false accusations. I am the Lord your God, and I see the pain and turmoil that has been inflicted upon you. But fear not, for I am with you, and I will guide you through this storm.

I declare over you today that the truth shall prevail. Though the world may cast doubt upon your character and integrity, I, the Almighty, will expose the lies and deceit that have been woven against you. I will bring forth the evidence that will shine a light upon the darkness, revealing the innocence that resides within your soul.

Do not be discouraged, for I am your defender. I will raise up advocates and supporters who will stand by your side, speaking truth and justice into the hearts of those who have falsely accused you. I will turn the hearts of those who have doubted you, causing them to see the truth and acknowledge your innocence.

In this season of adversity, I am molding you into a vessel of resilience and strength. Your faith will be tested, but I assure you, it will not be shaken. For I have chosen you for a purpose, and this trial is but a stepping stone towards the fulfillment of My plans for your life.

As you walk through this valley, remember that I am your refuge and your fortress. Seek solace in My presence, for I will provide you with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Trust in Me, and I will restore your reputation, bringing honor and vindication to your name.

Hold on to hope, for the day of redemption is drawing near. I will turn your mourning into dancing, and your sorrow into joy. Your enemies may have intended harm, but I will use their actions for your good. I will bring forth a testimony of triumph from the ashes of false accusations.

Beloved, do not lose heart, for I am the God of justice. I will right the wrongs that have been done to you. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that I am fighting on your behalf. In due time, the truth will be revealed, and you will emerge from this trial stronger, wiser, and more steadfast than ever before.

Trust in Me, for I am the God who vindicates the innocent. Rest in My promises, for they are true and unchanging. I am with you, and I will never leave your side.

Miracles Unveiled: A Prophetic Word for Christmas

Thus says the Lord:

“My child, fear not, for this Christmas season shall be a time of extraordinary miracles. I shall pour out my abundant blessings upon you and your loved ones. Prepare your hearts, for I am about to do something marvelous and unexpected.

In this season of miracles, I will heal the brokenhearted and mend relationships that have been strained. I will restore joy to those who have lost hope and bring peace to troubled minds. Watch as I turn mourning into dancing and replace sorrow with laughter.

Financial breakthroughs shall come forth, as I open doors that were once closed. Debts shall be canceled, and provision shall overflow. I will bless the work of your hands and grant you favor in unexpected places. Trust in me, and I will provide abundantly.

I will bring reconciliation among families and friends, reuniting those who have been separated by distance or disagreements. Estranged loved ones shall find their way back to one another, and forgiveness will flow freely. This Christmas, relationships will be restored and strengthened.

Look to the skies, for signs and wonders shall manifest. I will perform miracles that defy human understanding. Diseases shall be healed, and bodies shall be restored. I will bring forth supernatural breakthroughs in areas where you have been seeking answers. Nothing is impossible for me.

This Christmas, I will ignite a fire of revival in the hearts of many. Souls shall be saved, and lives shall be transformed. My Spirit will move mightily, drawing people closer to me. Prepare to witness the power of my love and grace in action.

Remember, my child, that miracles are not limited to a specific season. I am always at work, and I will continue to perform wonders beyond this Christmas. Trust in me, seek my face, and you shall see the manifestation of my glory.

Believe in the miracles that I am about to bring forth this Christmas. Have faith, for I am the God of miracles, and I delight in revealing my power to those who trust in me. Rejoice, for this Christmas shall be a season of extraordinary miracles.”

Thus says the Lord.

Rising Above Despair: Embracing God’s Renewing Power and Restoring Hope

Thus says the Lord, “My beloved child, I see the sadness and defeat that weighs heavy on your heart. But I want you to know that I am intimately acquainted with your pain, for I have seen it in the lives of many who have gone before you. Take heart, for just as they overcame, so too shall you.

Consider the story of Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his own brothers and faced numerous trials and tribulations. Yet, in the end, I elevated him to a position of great authority and used him to save his family and many others from famine. I turned his sorrow into joy and his defeat into victory.

Or look to the life of David, who faced countless battles and enemies that sought to destroy him. In his darkest moments, he poured out his heart to Me in the Psalms, expressing his sadness and despair. But I lifted him up, anointed him as king, and he became a man after My own heart.

And let us not forget the story of Job, who experienced unimaginable loss and suffering. He questioned and wrestled with Me, but in the end, I restored to him double what he had lost. I turned his mourning into dancing and his despair into hope.

My child, these stories are not just tales of the past, but living testimonies of My faithfulness and power. I am the same God who walked with Joseph, David, and Job, and I am with you now. I have not forgotten you, and I will not abandon you in your sadness and defeat.

I am the God who brings beauty from ashes, who turns weeping into laughter, and who gives strength to the weary. I have a plan and a purpose for your life, even in the midst of your pain. Trust in Me, lean on Me, and I will guide you through this season of sadness and defeat.

Know that I am working all things together for your good, even when it seems impossible. I will bring restoration and redemption to your circumstances. I will lift you up and set your feet on solid ground. I will give you the strength to overcome and the courage to press on.

So, my dear one, do not lose heart. Take hold of the hope that is found in Me. Allow Me to heal your brokenness and fill you with a renewed sense of purpose. For I am the God who brings victory out of defeat, joy out of sorrow, and hope out of despair. Trust in Me, and you will see the beauty that arises from your current circumstances.”

Prophetic Word God’s Promise of Justice and Discernment Amid Deceit

Thus says the Lord, “My child, I see the depths of your heart, your kindness, and your generosity. I see how you have opened your heart and your hands to those around you, even to those who do not reciprocate your kindness. I see the one who takes from you without giving, who exploits your goodness for their own gain.

Hear My words, My child. I am a God of justice and righteousness. I see the intentions of every heart and I will not let the wicked go unpunished. The one who takes advantage of your kindness, who uses you for their own selfish desires, they too are under My watchful eye.

I am calling you to wisdom and discernment. Do not be deceived by smooth words and false promises. Look beyond the surface and see the true intentions of their heart. I have given you the spirit of discernment to distinguish between good and evil, truth and deceit.

Remember, My child, that I am your protector and defender. I will not let you fall into the hands of the wicked. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. I will shield you from those who seek to harm you.

Be cautious, My child, for not everyone who smiles at you is your friend. Not everyone who extends a hand is there to help you. There are those who wear a mask of kindness, but underneath is a heart full of deceit and malice.

But fear not, for I am with you. I will guide you and protect you. I will expose the hidden intentions of those around you. I will reveal the truth that has been concealed. Trust in Me, lean on Me, and I will lead you to safety.

Remember, My child, that I am the God of justice. I will repay each one according to their deeds. The wicked will not go unpunished, and the righteous will not be forsaken. Stand firm in your faith, hold on to your integrity, and watch as I bring justice and vindication in your life. For I am the Lord, your God, who fights for you.”

In My Unconditional Love
