My beloved child,

I, the Lord your God, am speaking to you in this moment of confusion and uncertainty. I see the turmoil in your heart, the doubts that have been sown, and the lies that you have been led to believe. I am here to tell you that these are not of Me, but of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

The devil, the father of lies (John 8:44), is stirring up trouble, whispering falsehoods into your ear, and leading you astray. He is a roaring lion, prowling around, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). But I am here to remind you that you are not alone in this battle. I am with you, and I have already overcome the world (John 16:33).

Do not be deceived, my dear child. Test everything against My Word (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The enemy may try to distort the truth, but remember that My Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). It is the truth that sets you free (John 8:32).

I urge you to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:14-15).

Remember, you are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). But take heart, for I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (Luke 10:19).

So, my child, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for I, the Lord your God, go with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Listen to My voice, for I am the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Do not let the enemy deceive you, for I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

My beloved children, hear My voice and receive My word. I speak to you today to reveal a truth that shall guide your steps in the days to come. Know that you have entered a season where I, your God, shall intervene swiftly and abruptly to redirect your paths. For I am a loving Father who desires the best for you, and I will not allow you to wander aimlessly into places that do not align with My perfect will.

In this season, you shall witness the sudden ending of certain endeavors, relationships, and plans. Do not be dismayed or discouraged when these things come to an abrupt halt, for it is My hand at work, protecting you from harm and leading you towards the path of righteousness. Trust in Me, for I see what lies ahead, and I know the plans I have for you.

When something ends abruptly, do not question or doubt My intentions. Instead, embrace the closure and move forward with confidence, knowing that I am orchestrating your steps. Understand that the abrupt ending is a sign of My love and protection, shielding you from the snares and pitfalls that lie ahead. I am closing doors that would lead you astray, and opening new doors that will bring you closer to My divine purpose for your life.

Do not cling to the past or mourn what has been lost, for I am doing a new thing in your midst. Embrace the unknown with faith and courage, for I am with you every step of the way. Trust in My sovereignty, for I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I hold your future in My hands, and I will guide you towards the abundant life I have prepared for you.

The Danger of Manipulating Situations: Learning from Sarah’s Mistake

 

In our fast-paced society, waiting can often feel unbearable. We desire instant solutions, immediate gratification, and quick results. However, in our haste, we often fail to consider the consequences that may result from manipulating situations rather than waiting on God’s perfect timing. Today, we will explore the story of Sarah, Abraham’s wife, as outlined in the Scriptures, and draw valuable lessons from her impatience and attempt to control circumstances by involving Hagar in her plan. Genesis 16:1-6 

 

 A Hasty Decision: In the book of Genesis, we learn that Sarah and Abraham were promised descendants by God. However, as years passed without the fulfillment of this promise, Sarah began to lose hope. Feeling frustrated and desperate, she decided to take matters into her own hands and manipulate the situation. Sarah convinced her husband, Abraham, to sleep with her maidservant, Hagar, with the expectation that she would bear a child on Sarah’s behalf. In essence, Sarah was attempting to fulfill God’s promise through her own strategy, rather than patiently waiting on His perfect timing. Genesis 16:2-4 (NIV) describes the pivotal moment: “So she said to Abram, ‘The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.’ Abram agreed to what Sarai said… He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.”

 

Unintended Consequences:  While Sarah’s intentions may have been understandable, her actions had severe consequences that she could not have foreseen. As Hagar became pregnant with Abraham’s child, she began to despise Sarah, leading to tension and conflict within their household. Additionally, the birth of Ibrahim’s son, Ishmael, became a source of anguish for Sarah when she finally gave birth to Isaac many years later. Genesis 16:5-6 (NIV) continues the narrative: “Then Sarai said to Abram, ‘You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering… May the Lord judge between you and me.’ ‘Your slave is in your hands,’ Abram said. ‘Do with her whatever you think best.’ Then Sarai mistreated Hagar.”

 

Waiting on God’s Perfect Plan:  Sarah’s impulsive decision to manipulate the situation rather than wait on God’s timing serves as a powerful reminder for us today. Despite our desires for immediate answers and quick results, God’s plans are always superior to our own. He promises to fulfill His Word, and although we may become impatient, we must trust that He will bring to pass what He has promised in His perfect time. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) beautifully reminds us of the blessings that come from waiting on God: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

 

Sarah’s story serves as a cautionary tale regarding the dangers of manipulating situations and not waiting on God’s perfect timing. When we allow impatience to override our trust in God, we risk compromising His perfect plans for our lives. Let us remember that even in the waiting, God is working. His wisdom and love surpass our limited understanding, and He will bring about His promises in the most magnificent and unexpected ways when we place our faith in Him. May we learn from Sarah’s missteps and choose to patiently wait on God, surrendering our desire for control and allowing Him to lead us to His best for our lives.

1. Seek God’s Guidance: The first step towards surrendering to God’s will is to actively seek His guidance. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

2. Diligently Study His Word: God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. As we study and meditate on scripture, our hearts become attuned to His truth and wisdom. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 assures us, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

3. Be Open to Prayer and Listen: Prayer is our direct line of communication with God, allowing us to express our desires and listen to His voice. In John 10:27, Jesus affirms, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Spending dedicated time in prayer and meditation allows us to discern God’s will for our lives.

4. Surrender Personal Desires:Surrendering our own desires and plans to God can be a daunting task. However, by placing our faith in Him, we demonstrate that we trust in His wisdom and love. Proverbs 15:22 advises, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed.” Sharing struggles, seeking accountability, and discussing God’s will with wise individuals will help us on this surrendering journey.

Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 26:39, “Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” May we find strength and encouragement in the divine roadmap laid out in the scriptures as we surrender our lives to the will of God.

Decreeing a thing refers to making a firm and authoritative declaration or proclamation. It involves speaking words of faith and affirmation over our circumstances, believing that they will come to pass. This practice is not about wishful thinking or positive self-talk; it is about aligning our words with God’s promises and tapping into the supernatural power available to us.

But fear not, for I am with you in the midst of the storm. I am the God who calms the raging seas and brings peace to the troubled waters. Though the winds may roar and the waves may rise, I will be your refuge and your strength.

Prepare, My people, for the storm is near. Take heed of the warnings and make necessary provisions. Seek shelter and safety, for I have placed wisdom and discernment within you. Trust in Me, for I will guide you through the darkest of nights.

In the aftermath of Idalia, there shall be a time of rebuilding and restoration. I will raise up a spirit of unity and compassion among you. Neighbor shall help neighbor, and together you shall rebuild what was lost.

But know this, My children, storms are not only physical but also spiritual. Just as Idalia approaches the shores of Florida, so too does a spiritual storm loom over the land. It is a storm of division, hatred, and unrest.

I call upon you, My people, to be a beacon of light in the midst of this storm. Let love be your guiding force, and let unity be your strength. Pray fervently for peace and reconciliation, for in unity there is strength, and in love there is healing.

Remember, I am the God who calms the storms, both physical and spiritual. Trust in Me, and I will guide you through the trials that lie ahead. Seek My face, and I will give you peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am also releasing a fresh wave of creativity and innovation. I am stirring up the gifts and talents within you, causing them to flourish and bear fruit. I am opening doors of opportunity and providing divine connections that will propel you into new levels of success and impact.

Listen closely to My voice and follow My leading, for I am guiding you into new territories and uncharted waters. Do not be afraid to step out in faith, for I am the God who goes before you, making a way where there seems to be no way.

Therefore, he schemes and strategizes, attempting to sow seeds of doubt, fear, and discouragement within your soul.

But I tell you this, my child, do not be deceived by his tactics. For I have seen your faithfulness, your unwavering commitment to follow Me, even in the face of adversity. I have witnessed your perseverance, your refusal to give up when the storms of life threatened to overwhelm you. And now, as you stand on the threshold of your breakthrough, I assure you that I am with you, guiding your every step.

Do not be disheartened by the trials that surround you, for they are but temporary. The enemy’s attempts to discourage you are nothing compared to the power and authority I have bestowed upon you. Remember, I have equipped you with the armor of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of My Word. With these, you shall overcome every obstacle that the enemy places in your path.

He fears the breakthrough that is about to manifest in your life, for it will bring glory to My name and advance My kingdom. Stand firm, for I am about to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or imagine.
